I had two brothers: Lionkit and Breezekit. I was the only tabby in the group. Lionkit was a golden brown, Breezekit was a dark brown, and I was a tabby brown. 

Lionkit and I were the closest. We played around all the time. 

Breezekit befriended some older kits in the nursery, Thornkit and Pikekit. 

Something about those two made me feel unease at the stomach. At the time, I thought it was just me. 

I know now... the universe, StarClan, was trying to give me a sign.
