Edge's POV:

*I was looking over the horizon in the starfall islands with my sister by my side. The both of us just arrived at this strange place after I accidentally warped our house here. This was just after the fight of my life that I just...wish it ended me but....my sister needs me. And before you ask, no we aren't blood related. I met Natasha when I was only 5, she was 3 at the time. We were both on the streets with no one to look after us, to care for us, to love us. But that doesn't matter really, because we had each other and we could do anything that we set our minds to... besides getting a job so I could feed us. Yeah, I stole food and other stuff as a kid, so what? I was too fast for them to even catch me. Anyways, all I had was my sister, I had no parents, no relatives, no friends and definitely no social workers to help me. Heh, I still wish that I never got forced to go to school actually. But sadly, I did. This was all when I was 15 as well! If you're wondering how did me and Natasha learned Anything, it's because I taught her stuff, or I "homeschooled" her as some call it. The way that I learned was that I stole some books that were school related or whatever and taught her the necessities.*

*Anyways, when me and Natasha went to our first day of school, I can tell you right off the bat that it sucks! Everyone wants to talk to the new kids, everyone wants to be friends with them as well. I could never really do friends, I think that they're a waste of other people's time actually. Having friends is just an excuse to interact with strangers. I had trouble making friends in that school, Natasha on the other hand, was spreading her cuteness like wildfire. Everybody loved her, no one could resist her cuteness, well everybody except this random prick named Lila Rossi or something like that, she's so irrelevant that I can't even remember her name.*

*She was jealous of Natasha since day 1, always saying that Natasha did something stupid and all that crap. Lila is a pathetic, lying, fox mobian that just tries to get what she wants. She's a total snob! I still feel bad for not noticing her because...she used to bully Natasha...Lila did this by harassing her like calling her names, spilling stuff on Natasha's clothes or by being a liar and telling others that my sis was a absolute whore of a person. She also used to....abuse her to the point of Natasha being bruised or worse, bleeding, though I never noticed since Natasha usually doesn't see me during school hours and when we're at home, she's hides them very well. Lila didn't do anything else to her thankfully but....I couldn't protect my lil sis....but you know that, when I found out about this....Lila would of been dead....and that's technically what happened. I beated the shit out of her but got expelled as a result. I didn't bat an eye due to the fact that I hated it there. Though....I do miss it somewhat...*

*Anyways, after I was expelled, I always walked Natasha to and from school every single day, just to keep her safe. Sometimes, I wonder why she's so nice to me when I couldn't even protect her...*

*One day, after dropping her off from school, I went on a run in the forest. I did lots of parkcore while there, training if you will. But during my training montage, I slipped and fell in front what looked to be an abandoned shack. I was so FUCKING confused on why it was there but before I could even stand, I felt an enormous energy spike chill my quills. I knew that it was coming from the shack but that's it, so I got up from the dark, grassy earth and entered the shack.

*I walked in, expecting to find something either very technological advance or something completely magical. But all that I found was a bed, a chest, some draws and a book. I go towards the draws and grab the book. It wasn't just a book though, it had 3 sections for some reason, and theses stories are completely unrelated to each other. The first section contained the entire story line of the Arabian Nights. All 1001 of them! The next section had King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.*

Edge: Why does this book have unrelated stories....

*The final story was just abbreviated as JTTW. I had no clue what this story was so I just take the book with me.*

*I then look around everywhere besides the chest because I wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing anything. And because I wanna feel like Link when I do this.*

*After checking everything, I head towards the gold and black box of mystery and kick it open. I then see a bright blue light engulf the entire room. I try to block the light from burning my eyes by putting my arms into a defensive position.*

*After the lights dispurts and I regained my sight, I looked inside the chest to find some cyan crystal thing. I never saw anything like it in my life before but I then feel it's energy again. It draws me in and I grasp for it. I then grab it and pull it out slowly from the chest.*

*It then shined with a powerful light as I somehow got back to my house.*

Edge: ....HOW THE FU-.....You know what, I should just pick up Nat and sleep....

*I wait a few hours to pick Natasha up from school. When I arrived at the gates, I saw Natasha walking out of the school with some of her friends. I wave to her, trying to get her attention.*

Natasha POV:

*I just came out of the school with my friends as I saw my big bro waving at me. I smiled at him and slowly walked towards him.*

Natasha: Hey big bro^^

Edge: Hey sis, how was school?

Natasha: It was good (Y/N)^^

Edge: That's good to hear....anyways, we have to go home now....

*I sighed in annoyance as my big bro always decides when it's time to go home*

Natasha: Brother, I know that you're worried about me, but I'm not a little kid anymore. I've grown big and strong, just like you^^.

*I say while making a cute and happy face*

Edge: I know....but what would happen if you got in danger? Or someone attacked you? I can't risk that at all...and I'm not strong....

Natasha: Hey, give yourself some credit, you stopped Lila from bullying me.

Edge: Yeah....but not quick enough....

*I just sigh at my big bro. Honestly, he is a piece of work. I tell my friends that I need to go as I grab (Y/N)'s hand and drag him the way home.*

Edge POV:

Edge: Well...this was unexpected....

*My sis doesn't say anything as she just drags me home.*

*We get home as my sis just enters the house. I join her inside as I get to the fridge to reheat some food.*

*I take out some pasta and meatballs and put it in the microwave for 1 minute. I just wait for the food to be done as I see Natasha roll down the stairs, complaining about homework and other school stuff. She is the more acidemic student then I could ever be. But then again, she is the only one that studies for this shit.....I just wish that I could help her in more ways than I am....why....why did I have to be....SO FUCKING USELESS!?!?*

Natasha: Brother? Are you ok?

*I flinch as I hear that I was being called. Why does she need me? Why does my sister....need a worthless nobody....who can't even protect her....*

*Natasha becomes more worried for (Y/N) as he didn't reply. She walks up to him and slowly grabs his shoulders*

Natasha: Brother, calm down. No one is here to hurt us if that's what you're worried about. We're safe, promise.^^

*Suddenly, Edge hugs his pinked hair sis as he feels his sorrow fade slightly. Natasha was surprised from this random embrace but took it with open arms. Edge begins to let his tears go through as he couldn't control it anymore.*

Natasha: Shhhh, it's ok (N/N), I'm here for you.

Edge: i-i'm...sorry...

*Natasha was confused as to why he was apologizing to her*

Natasha: What are you sorry for brother?

Edge:.....

*Edge just let's himself fall into a deep slumber as he's with the only one that he can trust. Natasha notices this and lets him sleep. She takes (Y/N) to his bedroom as she lays him down.*

*She then begins to leave her sleeping brother but before she could go, Edge hugged her and she stumbles into the bed. Edge's grip then tightens around her as she couldn't do anything to escape her brother's grasp.*

*Over time, Natasha became drowsy and hugs Edge, just to feel his warm, his protection. As soon as she feels safe, she falls deep into her consciousness and sleeps peacefully.*

*We then see the siblings on the bed as they feel safe being around each other. They wished that they knew about the troubles that were on their way...*
