The bright morning sun was shining through the doorway that morning. Everyone around was joyful in spite of Christmas. Many different trolls running around, celebrating. Though this was just the beginning of the day, every troll was awake. Wait, I mis-said that... All but two trolls were already awake. You can probably guess who wasn't awake by now.

A few minutes passed before Poppy had woken up that morning. She tiredly opened up her eyes but then she squinted as she tried to filter the shine of the bright sun from her eyes. Once she'd become used to the sunlight, she completely opened her eyes. And there she was, face to face with Branch. Poppy smiled as she hugged him close. Then, she jumped a little in surprise as she felt him move. She turned her head to look at him, he was awake.

"Good morning, Branch," Poppy said, then giving Branch a kiss on the cheek.

"Good morning, Poppy," Branch replied, smiling at her. "Merry Christmas,"

"Merry Christmas to you too!" Poppy said happily, looking into his eyes. Poppy and Branch then sat in silence for a bit, looking around the present-filled room. Poppy then turned around to face her nightstand.

"What are you doing?" Branch asked her, watching closely. Poppy then grabbed a picture off her nightstand, sitting up in the bed. Branch repeated, sitting up. "What do you got there?" He asked.

"Just a picture," Poppy said, shifting it to the side where Branch wasn't, continuing to stare at it. Branch peered at the picture over Poppy's shoulder. It was a picture of him and her at Hug Fest last year. Branch smiled at it, remembering how much fun he had there with her.

"That's a great one, great day too," Branch brought up. Poppy blushed, stuffing the picture under her pillow.

"Yeah, such a great day..." Poppy murmured softly, blushing even more. Poppy then took a minute to stretch and then she picked up her phone, checking the time. Branch noticed that her background was of her and Branch after they'd returned from Barb's most recent (Peaceful-ish, excluding the hard rock music) World Tour.

Poppy had really had fun that day, she was excited that day because she got to dress as a Hard Rock troll. And Branch, well he was just happy to see her happy. Besides, she was his happiness. And she was all he needed.

 Then, Branch thought for a moment about his future again. He hadn't thought of it much ever since he'd developed this huge crush on Poppy (Which may I add was about a year ago). 

Then, Branch thought again, if he wanted to make his future what he really wanted it to be, he had to do something. It made Branch dizzy and nervous when he thought about it (Especially when he looked at her while doing it), because he thought it was something he couldn't manage to tell her.

Then, Branch shook his head. He told Poppy he loved her, and that had a great outcome! Surely she'd say yes to being his Girlfriend, right?

Poppy then turned off her phone, setting it on her nightstand again. She stood up and then looked around. Poppy then realised something in panic, running to her gift wrapping table.

"Ahhh! I've gotta finish those-! Gifts...?" Poppy said in shock as she looked at the perfectly wrapped gifts in front of her. Branch smirked at her as she turned around. "Who wrapped these in my sleep? Was that me...?"

"No..." Branch said, hinting.

Poppy looked confused as she looked around, thinking about who may have finished her gifts. Then, Poppy gasped turning to Branch, "Was that... You who wrapped those..?"

Branch nodded and then smirked again, seeing Poppy's unbelievable, surprised face. "No way! There is no way that this was your wrapping!"

"Oh I get it, you don't believe it because you think i'm not good at wrapping don't you?" Branch said, crossing his arms.

"Psh what?? I didn't say that~! Heh..." Poppy said. Branch rolled his eyes, getting up. Before he walked out, Branch stopped. He hesitated in the doorway but managed to turn around to Poppy.

"Hey..." -Branch started- "Umm, if you aren't busy, would you like to... You know, do something tonight...?" Poppy smiled at him, her eyes glittering with thoughtfulness and happiness.

"Of course, Branch! I'd love to do something with you tonight! It would be great!" Poppy said. Branch turned around a bit and did a hand motion in success. YES! Branch thought to himself. Poppy raised an eyebrow, confused.

"Is everything alright?" Poppy asked.

"Oh, umm yep! Hehe," -Branch started to blush of embarrassment- "Oh wow~! Look at the time~! Gotta go, see you tonight- bye!" Poppy looked at him confused, but then shrugged, smiling and walking away.
