EXTENDED SUMMARY

zaylee's family is not your normal typical family. they're hunters and not just any kind of hunters, they're supernatural hunters.

in fact they're actually family friends with another family of hunters, the argents, which is a reason why they're so popular in the supernatural world.

and because of being hunters they have to move around a lot which means zaylee is always the new kid with no friends and even if she makes one her family doesn't stay in that one place for as long as she would like them to.

they decide to move to this small quiet town called beacon hills hoping to get a break from the supernatural and live a normal life. they are in for a rude awakening when she meets the one and only scott mccall one day and the two seem to hit it off.

these two become close friends immediately and he even introduces her to his best friend stiles stilinski to which whenever she met stiles the first thing she said was, " what kind of name is stiles?"

ever since then the three have been best friends. zaylee kept the secret of her family being hunters away from them for as long as she can since she fears they would think of her differently or not be her friend anymore and she doesn't want that.

at first she doesn't know that scott is a werewolf until on the night of the full moon she finds him in her bedroom. at first she doesn't know that scott has romantic feelings for her because she thinks that he's head over heels for the other new girl, allison who is like a sister to her, and she definitely doesn't know that he knows she has the same feelings for him.

but what she does know is that moving to beacon hills was definitely the start of something new.
