014, let bygones be bygones

EVER SINCE the funeral, Xana noticed that Spider had been avoiding the Sully's. At first, it was just the simple request to have his own mauri made more in the small forest by the vilalge, but it soon turned into not even speaking a word to any of them as he spent most of his time in his mauri.

Though a few times, he had came over to Xana nervously - almost as though he had something to tell her - but he never got far with his words.

But today, he did it again, and Xana was now not going to let him go without him telling her what was wrong. She grabbed his arm, spinning him back round to face her. He swallowed harshly, the boy feeling like an ant compared to her.

"What is wrong Spider? You have been avoiding us all for weeks and many times you have came up to me saying you needed to tell me something but yet you never say it." Xana sternly spoke as Spider shook his head in dismissal, the human trying to walk away again. Xana once again grabbed his arm, but this time, she saw a vision.

It was only for a moment but she saw everything she needed to. He had saved Quaritch and the man who had shot Xana. And the worst part was, he had been hiding the two men within his mauri. Spider felt as though he was going to pass out as he watched her expression change from concern to pure anger.

Spider tried to make a run for it but he was just to slow as Xana grabbed his dreadlocks with ease, the girl dragging the boy towards her families mauri. "Xana what are you doing?" Jake questioned as Xana dragged the boy into the mauri. Shivers flew down Jake's spin as he noticed the same psychotic look on her face that he had seen on Neytiri's just weeks ago.

"I don't know, what am I doing, Miles?" Xana snarled, hers eyes casting over the rest of her family who stood in shock and confusion. Xana pulled out her knife, holding it towards Spiders neck as Jake went to pounce forward in attempt to retrieve the knife off of his daughter, but he just missed her as she took several steps back.

Aonung, Tsireya and Rotxo ran into the mauri after hearing from fellow villagers that Xana had been dragging the 'human boy' through the village.

"Perfect, even more people to hear what this betrayer has done." Miles let out several rigged breaths as she pressed the knife further into his neck, forcing him to admit what he had done.

"Quaritch and Wyles, the man who shot Xana, are still alive. I saved them, but I didn't intend to bring them here. My mask has a tracker and they somehow tracked it and I felt bad so I let them stay here. I'm so sorry." Spider quickly spoke, hoping they would all understand him.

"Take him to Tonowari and Ronal, tell them the situation. Xana and Lo'ak, come." Jake spoke, his voice eerily emotionless as the twins followed after their parents. As they entered the forest, two familiar laughs entered their ears. The anger within Xana grew bigger, how could these two men be laughing after all the damage they had caused to the peoples lives that lived right beside them.

They quietly halted outside of the mauri as Jake bent down infront of the twins. "There is one bullet in each gun, you know what to do." Jake sternly whispered, handing them both a gun as Xana, entering the mauri with Lo'ak following close behind.

The two men immediately stopped laughing as they swallowed harshly. In a situation like this, when they were faced with two teens, they was never phased. But without a weapon, they was fucked.

The twins didn't say anything else as they shot them both exactly where Neteyam and Xana were. Xana strolled over to Wyles' side, the man grunting in pain as she bent down beside him. "Now you know how I felt." She whispered before leaving the mauri. She shared a knowing look with her father as her and Lo'ak walked away, ready to deal with Spider.

Later in the evening, a punishment was decided for Spider. He had been kicked out of the clan and if he was ever found near Awa'atlu again then their would be more serious consequences. Lo'ak had also noticed the shift in his twins emotions and he knew what he meant. She was going back to how she was in the forest, but not in a good way.
