Martin and Karina pulled up the ladder and helped Flint onboard. He had to hold his hat onto his head to prevent from it getting blown off by the wind.
"Welcome aboard." Martin said. "You're officially a Steam Rider."
"What made you come back?" Karina asked.
"I... uh... dunno." Flint said. "Just changed my mind, I guess."
"Well, either way, we'll need all the help we can get if we're going to overthrow Terrance." Martin said. "I'm happy to have you on the team."
"Good to know." Flint said, until Martin held a broom out towards him.
"However, if you're going to be on the ship, you'll have to work." He explained. Flint rolled his eyes and took the broom from him.
"Aye aye, captain." Flint chuckled. He left to start cleaning at the front of the ship, while Martin and Karina went put a plan together in Martin's office. He removed his hat and placed it on his desk. Karina stood next to him and put on a serious expression.
"You're nervous. I can tell." Karina said. Martin sighed.
"I am. We've never had to deal with something this big before." He said. "Truthfully, I'm lost."
"Don't worry. You forget, I used to be a thief." Karina said. "I can break into any building in New London, and that includes the Ivory Palace."
Martin placed his hands on the desk and sighed again. "That may be, but we still need a strategy." He groaned in frustration. "I can design a sentient robot, but I can't figure out how to get past a building full of armed guards?"
Karina placed her hand on her chin in thought. "Maybe we can use Geoffrey to get in. We can send him in first while we come in from behind."
"No. It's a good plan, but Geoffrey isn't smart enough to strategize." Martin explained. "He'd just run in and start smashing everything in sight. He'd be taken out in an instant." Just then, an idea struck him. His eyes widened and he shot up. Karina jumped as she saw this.
"Wait..." Martin began. "That's it! We can use Geoffrey's strength and my brain!"
"You're gonna put your brain in Geoffrey's head?" Karina asked, raising a skeptical eyebrow.
"Not exactly. I'm gonna put my whole body in his!" Martin explained.
"...You've lost me." Karina said, shaking her head. Martin unrolled a sheet of paper into his desk and grabbed a pencil. He drew a diagram of Geoffrey, and a figure of himself.
"Geoffrey is mostly empty. But he's able to fit at least one human inside of him." Martin explained. "If we take advantage of that fact, we can install some sort of control module inside his chassis. I can take control of him, and use him as a suit of armour to get inside the building and take out the guards." He drew his ideas on the paper as he said them. Karina nodded and smirked as she began to understand his plan.
"You really are a mad genius." Karina said.
"Thank you." Martin nodded. He placed his hat back onto his head. "Now, let's get Geoffrey in here."
Before they could leave, Flint came through the door, holding the broom on his shoulder.
"Done." He said. "What else do you need me to do?"
"You're finished cleaning the whole deck already?" Martin asked. "You barely took 5 minutes."
"See for yourself." Flint said. Martin and Karina poked their heads out the door, only to see that the deck was nearly spotless. All the piles of sand and dirt that had piled up in the desert were now gone.
"How did you..." Karina began. Flint chuckled and pushed up his hat.
"Are you kidding me?" He asked. "I've been cleaning my grand dad's shop since I was eight. If I can do that in a minute, I can clean this ship in five."
"Oh. Well alright then." Martin said. "Looks like we've got a new janitor."

A massive black flag draped over the ivory palace, covering the stained glass window on the front. The flag was designed by Terrance Chandler himself. It depicted a snake coiling around a bird with its winged outstretched. Terrance smiled as the flag unravelled.
"And so, my reign as emperor begins." He said. He began walking into the palace, past the guards and members of the League of Silence lining the hallways. They all saluted him as he passed them, making him grin to himself as he approached his new office. Owl was there waiting for him.
"Welcome, Emperor Chandler." Owl said.
"I love how that sounds." Terrance said, taking a seat in his chair behind his desk.
"So, what will the next order be?" Owl asked. Terrance froze for a moment.
"I'm not sure." Terrance admitted. "Never really got this far. Um... What... what do you think I should do?"
"Well, you've already hired the League of Silence to be the new official guard." Owl recapped. "If it were me, I'd start taking over other Sky Cities."
Terrance smiled. "Not a bad idea." He said. "Rose already assembled a respectable military, all I have to do is declare war on another city and it will be part of the New London Empire within the week!"
"Exactly. Your rule will expand farther than the sky." Owl said. "And that means you'll pay me more."
Terrance laughed as he leaned back in his chair. "We are extremely smart." He said.
"That we are." Owl agreed.
