I look down at the steam vent in front of me. It was changing the direction of the steam about every 2 seconds. OK, I just got to time it. I wait for the arrow to point right and then step on. And it boosted me over to the right side of the door. I take a few steps and look at this big pillar-like building. It had sign that had an arrow on it. There was also 2 guys sitting on the edge of rock island. As I walk past I could hear their conversation.

"Man! That was some great effects! That human almost looked real!" Said a green monster in a suit.

"Yeah! Mettaton is the most popular star in the underground. His fan club probably got two... no, THREE dozen members!" Said a smoke monster in a mussel-t and holding a cup of coffee.

I tilt my head and shrug it off. I was about to walk in when my phone buzzed. Alphys updated status *Wonder if it would be un-fun if I explained the puzzle... I look at it and put it back in my pocket. Although she updates random thoughts and questions on her media, I'm still not all that annoyed by it. I walk into the building. The puzzle was on a screen, a pice of paper in the left corner, and a cat-head monster in the right corner. Shoot the opposing ship! move the boxes to complete your mission. I look at the puzzle and there was a small arrow key in the corner. I pushed the arrows and moved the boxes around.

Up, left, shoot, shoot. And I destroyed the opposing ship. Awesome! I smile and walk out. Back at the vent with the moving arrow. And... to the left! Yeah! Nailed the landing! OK, now there's just one problem... there's a blue laser blocking the way. Then, I got a call.

"Alphys! Here! TH-that blue laser seems totally impassible! B-b-but! As the Royal Scientist, I h-have sone tricks up my sleeve! I'll h-hack into th-the Hotland laser data base and take it out!" She tells me and once she hangs up, the laser goes out. I smile and run into the building to solve the puzzle.

Up, left, down, right, shoot, shoot. And the other battle ship is down! I leave the building and go to the gigantic door that Alphys talked about, but I can't remember why. Whatever.

The doors open and I walk though. And my phone buzzed again. Alphys updated status * whatever!!! i'll just explain it!!! and then I get a call. 

"Uuuuh, I think... umm... Hey! About the puzzles on the left and right...! They're a bit difficult to explain, but......uh, you solved them? Awesome!" And the she hangs up without letting me say a word. I smile and resume walking. There was a row of steam vents leading somewhere. I hop on and let the steam boost me to the next one until I land on ground. And... Someone turned out the lights. Greeeaaat. Someone is gonna try to kill me. And I got a call.

"H-hey! It's kind of dark in there, isn't it? (Isn't it over? XD) Don't worry! I'll hack into the light system and brighten it up!" The lights turn on and I'm standing in a kitchen set to one of those cooking shows," Oh no."

"OHHHHH YES!!!!!!!! WELCOME, BEUTIES TO THE UNDERGROUNDS PREMIER COOKING SHOW!!!" Mettaton says into his microphone. And then a sign shows up on the set and says 'Cooking with a Killer Robot' in big fancy letters," PRE-HEAT YOUR OVENS, BECAUSE WE'VE GOT A VERY SPECIAL RECIPIE FOR YOU TODAY! WE'RE GOING TO BE MAKING......A CAKE! MY LOVELY ASSISTANT HERE WILL GATHER THE INGREDIENT. EVERYONE GIVE THEM A BIG HAND!" He claps his hands and confetti falls from the ceiling," WE'LL NEED SUGER, MILK, AND EGGS. GO FOR IT SWEETHEART." He says

I look at him and then get the ingredients and set them down on the counter closes to the camera," PERFECT! GREAT JOB, BEAUTIFUL! WE'VE GOT ALL THE INGRETIENTS TO BAKE A CAKE! MILK... SUGER... EGGS...... OH MY! WAIT A MAGNIFICENT MOMENT! HOW COULD I FORGET!!! WE/RE MISSING THE MOST IMPORTANT INGREDIENT!!!" He says and grabs something from under the counter," A HUMAN SOUL!!!!!!!" He said and pulled out a chainsaw.

He starts to walk toward me and making weird robot noises. When he gets a call.

"HELLO...? I'M KINDA IN THE MIDDLE OF SOMETHING HERE."

"W-wait a second!!! couldn't you make a.... couldn't you use a... couldn't you make a substitution in the recipe?" asked a very nervous Alphys

"... A SUBSTITUTION? YOU MEAN ,USE A DIFFERENT, NON-HUMAN INGREDIENT? ... WHY?"

"Uhhh, what is someone's.... vegan?"

"... VEGAN?"

"Uh, well, I mean-"

"THAT'S A BRILIANT IDEA, ALPHYS!! ACTUALLY, I HAPPEN YO HAVE AN OPPTION RIGHT HERE!!! MTT-BRAND ALWAYS-CONVINYENT HUMAN-SOUL-FLAVOR SUBSTITUTE! A CAN OF WHICH... IS JUST OVER THAT COUNTER!!!" The camera pans over showing a small counter with MTT-brand soul substitute... by itself... this better not be a trap," WELL DARLING? WHY DON'T YOU GO GET IT?" He asks me.

I sigh and walk over to it. And the counter... starts to shake and then.... shoots up to the top of cavern on a tower of counters. Yep, this was a trap and a poor plan to try to kill me. I look over at Mettaton 

"BY THE WAY, OUR SHOW RUNS ON A STRICKT SCHEDUEL. IF YOU CAN'T GET THE CAN IN UNDER ONE MINUTE... WE'LL JUST HAVE TO GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL PLAN!!! SO BETTER START CLIMING BEAUTIFUL!!!" And then, with his jetpack, he flies to the top. And I get a call.

"Oh no!!!! There's not enough time to climb up! F-f-fortunately, I might have a plan! When I was upgrading your phone, I added a few... features. You see that huge button that says... 'JETPACK'? Watch this." I giggle a little and watch the phone turn into a jetpack," There! You should have just enough fuel to reach the top! Now, get up there!" She shouts  threw the phone.  

But I don't take off. I look at one of the camera guys," Hey, does one of you have a microphone?" I ask them. One of them hands me one and I take it," No." I say into it and Mettaton stops mid-flight and them lands on the ground.

"WHY NOT BEAUTIFUL? ARE YOU SCARED OF HEIGHTS?" He asks me.

"No." I hand the mic back to the camera guys," It's just that this will be a big waist of my time." I say to him.

" 'WAITS OF MY TIME'? WHAT EVER DO YOU MEAN, DARLING?"

"You're an actor, don't you know how cooking shows work?" I walk over to the oven open it," You pre-bake everything." And I pull out... a cake, it was decorated to.

" HOW EVER DID YOU KNOW?!"

"I saw that the can was glued to the counter, and I usually watch cooking shows so I know the trick." I say to him and smile. He appears to look around nervously and then flies away while doing an outro.

"WELL, HTAT'S IT FOR COOKING WITH A KILLER ROBOT! SEE YOU NEXT TIME BEAUTIFULS!" He says pretty quickly.

"Huh, I wonder if that was the first time he ever got cold feet on camera." I say to nobody in par-tic-tac-ular.
