Sapphire is half of Garnet the other half being Ruby. In "jail break" the gems and Steven were captured and put in holding cells. Jasper seemed to put them in certain places so she could watch them. Ruby was next to Steven, Pearl was next to Anethyst, Lapis was alone, Sapphire was alone. She didn't care about Ruby's relationship with Sapphire and didn't separate them so they wouldn't fuse. She didn't think they could even get out. Lapis was alone and everyone knows how powerful she is. Pearl and Amethyst are together because Jasper sees them as the weak part of the group. She continuously checks on Sapphire. First time was when she was singing and second time when she yelled "Where is She?!" If she was checking on Ruby and Steven she would have yelled "Where are they?!" There must be a reason for separation and constant checks. Something that is also weird a bout Sapphire is her triangle facet on her gem, like the ones on Peridot's ship and on Rose's shield.
