CECILIA SHARPE. An intelligent young woman with dreams of starting her own business in the big city of London. However instead she moved to America, fell in love with her high school sweetheart at 18, was married by 22 and by 24 she gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl, called Celine and Scott, who she cherishes with her entire heart.

A few years later her boss stepped down from his position and gave his CEO title to her, giving her a well paying job and finally owning the company she deserves. She thought she had the perfect life; a stable job, amazing family and loving husband.
But that was until she caught her now ex husband cheating on her with someone she considered a sister.

They broke it off almost immediately and divorced after 2 months. Cecilia took her children in to become a single mother at 25 and has been raising them alone ever since. She lets her children see their father once a week and that's it, she doesn't want her kids to know the real reason why they broke up.

She's tried dating, but no one seemed to want to be with a woman who already had 2 kids before 30. So she gave up. Cecilia thought she'd be alone the rest of her life, until she met a certain man at her kids' middle school dance...

ELIAS BLACK. He had just broken up with his girlfriend of 3 years one night and decided to drink away his sorrows at a nearby bar. Whilst there he meets an old friend, and they get chatting. One thing leads to another and the next day Elias finds himself naked in a motel bed with the girl he met at the bar the night before. She makes it clear she doesn't want to see him again, until she finds out she's pregnant from their one night stand.

Elias is only 26, he doesn't want to have kids yet, but he has to become the best parent for his child. He doesn't want his child to experience the same childhood he went through. He supports this woman through her entire pregnancy and when she gives birth he feels like his life is complete already. His daughter June has been brought into the world. But the next morning he finds out his one night stand left, and left the child to him as well.

Elias knew what he had to do. He took his daughter home and raised her alone. Even though he has struggled he's made sure his daughter grows up in the best way possible with the best father.
He hasn't even tried dating, not at all. But things seem to change when he sees a woman at his daughter's middle school dance...
