Ceaderstripe pads around camp, it was the sunrise after the battle against Leafclan and she was padding towards the nursery to check in on all the queens and their kits.
As she padded into the den she noticed Cocoakit and Galaxy play fighting against Applekit and Pinekit.
Galaxy and Star should get clan names at some point, Ceaderstripe thought.
"Hello Ceaderstripe," Heatherfur mewed.
"Hi sweetie," mewed Creamtail with a purr.
"How are you today?" Star mewed kindly.
Ceaderstripe dipped her head in greetings, as Sandhert and Silvereyes chipped in their Hello's, "I'm doing fine, thank you for asking," she mewed kindly.
She bent down to touch noses with her mother who was laying in her nest.
"I'm going to go get you all some fresh kill," Ceaderstripe mewed.
"I already ate, and so did my kits," Silvereyes mewed with a purr, "thank you but Smudgeface already brought me some prey."
Ceaderstripe nodded, "ok," she mewed then turned and padded out of the den.
"Hey Ceaderstripe!" Flathead called.
Ceaderstripe could hear him purring from where he sat in front of the medicine den.
She noticed he had a pretty bad scratch on his chest.
"Hey!" She mewed back kindly.
She padded towards the fresh kill pile slowly and sighed when she noticed Burntwhisker and Rubyfur sitting together.
She picked up a few mice and a crow then padded back to the nursery.
As she sat the prey down she felt a tear run down her face.
"Are you alright Ceaderstripe?" Silvereyes asked softly.
Ceaderstripe smiled fakely, "yes, my eyes are just watering," she mewed.
She felt red hot with embarrassment as he queens all looked at her sympatheticly.
She wiped her face with a paw then dipped her head respectfully  to the queens before padding back to the camp clearing sadly.
I should probably eat, Ceaderstripe thought as she noticed many other warriors with fresh kill.
She padded slowly to the fresh kill pile and grabbed a mouse then looked sadly at Burntwhisker and Rubyfur.
Rubyfur rubbed her muzzle against Burntwhisker's muzzle, "I love you," she purred.
Ceaderstripe felt a tear run down her face.
Burntwhisker widened his eyes and pulled his head back, "I'm sorry Rubyfur, I don't like you in that way. I- I still love Ceaderstripe," as he looked over at Ceaderstripe, they locked eyes and Ceaderstripe gasped as she dropped her mouse.
