This story also might be called "The Once Heir" but I haven't decided yet. I was inspired (yes, I get inspired by everything I see/read) by the Eragon series.

Description:

A boy's life is turned around when he becomes the Rider to the extinct dragon. He tries to keep low and unknown, but when a stranger comes to him and tries to drag him on a quest, he struggles with what duty he should follow-- the duty to his family and home, or the duty as a Dragon Rider to save his land.

Rating: *very* little to no swearing, little to no inappropriate actions/words
