The Reader is DiEnd, but he arrives on Remnant with information of the worlds treasures, the magic of the Maidens and the four Relics, he decides to steal them, while foiling the plans of the villains that are also trying to collect them. While he is a thief, he doesnt want innocent people to die, so he naturally has begun a mass extermination of Grimm with the help of his Kamen Rider summons, quite easily, to easily, so easily it's boring. This quickly catches the eyes of Ozpin, Ironwood, and Salem. Being a master thief, he has never been caught, and usually steals from higher up people and other thieves, being taught by Sly Cooper while in said Raccoons respective universe. He breaks into Atlas and hacks the computers and finds all the info on Penny, as well as all Military tech, and leaves without leaving a single clue that showed anyone hacked in. He broke into the Vault under Beacon and found Amber, and proceeded to use the 'Attack ride: Heal' on her as well as steal her maiden  powers, but this time he leaves a signature card, commonly used by Phantom thieves, either sent to police stations as hints to make the heist even more challenging or left at the crime scene to show who pulled the heist.

The reader will not ally himself to anyone until after Team RWBY reunites, he had taken Ravens powers before Cinder had approached her and stolen the Relic of knowledge, but had replaced Ravens powers with temporary fake magic made by Kamen Rider Wizard.
