Sylvie: It's a pleasure to be here (smiles)

Interviewer: Alright, first question...

1. Who are you? What role do you play in the story?

I'm Sylvie Mullan. I'm sixteen years old and I lived in a city in England and now I am traveling around in space, getting into danger because of my partner and taking missions. I play the main character, who's completely helpless on her own.

2. What's the title of your story and what is your opinion of the title?

The title of my story is The Last Earthling and it is a great title in my opinion because it is basically what my story is about.

3. Are you in love? If so, with who?

Ummm, not really. I mean Ajax is sort of nice but I don't really see us as boyfriend and girlfriend, not yet anyway. He's still way to immature and I, honestly, am too.

4. Do you have any talents?

I am really good at crafts and I can draw pretty well. Not talents that are useful in this area of the galaxy. Some people say I'm good at cussing, but they're just annoyed to hear my mind.

5. Who is closest to you? Not counting lovers.

KiKi is a dear friend of mine. She is the only girl I really know right now, since I lost my best friend back on my planet. She's sweet and caring, but not as affectionate and emotional. She's my go to person when it comes to strange alien cultures.

6. What is your opinion of the side characters?

Shekira and Errine were strong female characters which are really good role-models. Jinx is a doll and Ajax is as reckless and ruthless as ever. KiKi is amazing and all the other generals and senators are very interesting people.

7. Describe your perfect moment.

My perfect moment...well, if I were to answer this question a year ago I'd say, being Andrew's girlfriend. He was the older brother of my best friend and I had a massive crush on him. I haven't found my perfect moment here yet.

8. What animal do you most relate to and why?

Hm, maybe a deer? Because I'm easily startled and always alert. Deer also relate to innocence and determination which I think describe me pretty well.

9. Who is your creator/author and do you like them? Why or why not?

My creator/author is a girl my age named Ava. I'm very upset that she destroyed my home, but she gave me a new home at the same time, so I'm not sure. We kind of have a love/hate friendship currently.

10. How would you describe your creator/author?

She used to be kind of gloomy and still can be at times, but now she's happy and loves having fun with us. She finds time for her characters during long car rides, boring meetings, and even during some classes. I'm glad she's my author.

11. What's your favorite color(s)?

I love red, especially crimson and dark reds.

12. Favorite song or genre?

"It's Quiet Uptown" in the Broadway show Hamilton. It's funny because I'm British.

13. What genre is your story?

Science Fiction/Action

14. What do you like doing in your free time?

Sewing and reading. I'm currently working on a dress for an important meeting coming up at my work.

15. What's your favorite time of day and why?

I am defiantly a night owl. I prefer to sleep in and stay up late working on whatever project I'm doing.

16. What's a memorable moment of your life?

I've actually got two and they aren't very happy ones. Being whipped at the slave camp and the sight of my home planet being destroyed. I know, it's disturbing.

17. Describe yourself in one word.

Outsider. I'm new to this area of the galaxy and there is so much that I don't know. And I've also learned the hard way that humans are normally not wanted.

18. What's your goal in life?

To not be executed by any alien species and be successful in my work.

19. If you could tell your creator/author one thing, what would it be?

WHY?!! There's a lot of things I do not understand why she did it!

20. If you read halfway through your story and could end it your way, how would YOU end it?

This is actually an easy question for me. I would have the ships destroy the cannon before it fired so I could live a normal life back on my planet. Perhaps I could even teach Ajax how to be civil.
