Pidge wanted Lance to have a nice, peaceful sleep. But Lance being the alert person he is, as well as not being able to sleep well in the first place due to his infections, his sleep was not nearly uninterrupted. He awoke just about every five minutes due to sudden pain, cramps or just hearing a small noise in the distance. Eventually, she just woke him up. Constantly disturbed sleep has been proven to raise anxiety levels in some patients, and Pidge didn't want that.

"Lance, why couldn't you just sleep? I know half the time it wasn't the sounds or your wounds, so what was it?" Pidge was genuinely concerned and curious. Se wanted to know what was going on in his head. Lance looked at the ground, as if guilty and replied.

"Well, I mean... I didn't wanna leave you alone, y'know?" His speech was a bit slurred, not a good sign. "I mean, you're so young, and I just... felt a brotherly need to protect you? You don't deserve to be in this mess..." He was getting extra emotional, and curling in on himself. Also not good.

"Well, Lance," she started, hesitantly and carefully, like a child trying not to scare away a fawn. "You don't deserve to be stuck in this mess either... You're only, like, two years older than me. And also, none of us were-" she coughs a few times. "None of us were prepared for this. Giant robot lions, defenders of the universe, that a big burden on the shoulders of four teens, a former prisoner and two aliens who were locked away for ten thousand years. None of us deserved to be yanked into this mess. But, y'know, we're here anyway, so we gotta suck it up, I suppose."

That seemed to make Lance feel a bit more at ease, so she let him sleep once more. This time, it went nearly uninterrupted, he only woke up once or twice.

Lance seemed completely rejuvenated after his nap. He was smiley and happy and ready to start the day. It made Pidge play along, I mean you can't be serious ALL the time, can you? That would make you a buzzkill, and we don't want that. But that couldn't last forever either, they had to be serious at some point.

They had decided to go together to get water, settling upon leaning on trees for support when it was needed. Though it didn't really work out that way in the end.

In the beginning, they walked and had small conversations about their predictions about this planet and what they did back on Earth (Lance had realized they'd never really talked about it before). On their quest, Pidge spotted something in the bushes. She tapped Lance's shoulder, gesturing for him to follow her. He did, trying to keep his breath steady. Actually, they were both out of breath, this sucked.

Pidge peered over the bush, which was purple, as were all of leaves on this planet. She spotted a small creature, about two feet tall. It head one small, dull horn on the left side of his head, the other side seemed like it had a horn, but it broke off. It has small ears like a deer and large, appealing eyes. It was covered in purple markings on top of a green base coat. All in all, it was cute. But that didn't stop Lance from being alert. He's been tricked by aliens before, and he had a bad feeling about this.

"Aww, hey little guy, what's your name?" Pidge smiled at the small creature. It didn't answer, what it did was pull out some sort of shell, a call, and blew into. I t was calling for others. No wonder Lance had a bad feeling. They'd better start running.
