This story is a little bit like Disney's Bolt.

Kanan's pov

I woke up and found the kid already awake. Truck had stopped and everything had been put back into the boxes. He kept a straight face "Ready for breakfast?" "Yep." He opened the door and so we headed out. "Where are we?" "North side of lothal." We saw a bunch mobile shuttles and Ezra went to them. "Friends?" "Nope." I was confused on why we were going here, he motioned for me to hide. I did so and he knocked on the door. An old couple opened up the door. Ezra bowed his head and started to cry a little. "Aww what's wrong child?" Ezra quietly mumbled "Hungry.". They immediately gave him food but went back to their business. He came over to me with a doughnut he had been given and smiled. "All in one swoop." I was stunned at his actions. "What was that?" He frowned but shook it off. "Begging, it's street rat 101 really. Your turn." "Umm I've never had to or done that so... You can go again." He laughed "I'll teach you." He moved me to the side. "Alright tilt your head a little." I did so "Perfect now look down at the ground. And for the tears think of something sad." I thought of the saddest thing and soon felt tears running down my face. "Soup is on!".

45 minutes later

"I am stuffed!" Ezra exclaimed while I laughed. We had hit every single place and was successful every single time. "Alright let's get a ride." The kid and I found a hover dump truck filled with dirt. He read the location plate and smiled. "This is our ride." We climbed up and soon the truck began to move, we spent the night under the star connecting constellations. "So... do you have family?" He shook his head no. "Can I have a name?" He thought about it for a while but finally answered me "Ezra, my name is Ezra." I started to pop more questions and got to know each other. I was able to see a side of him I've never seen in him... Happiness. We laughed and played tag, in the end I won. I ruffled his hair until he batted my hand away. He made a spot on the dirt and curdled up into a ball. I scooted closer to him only to be pushed away and get a growl. I don't understand, one moment we were having fun and the next he was pushing me away. I guess I should connect some more. I moved over to the other side and fell asleep looking up at the starry sky filled with a thousand lights.
When I awoke Ezra was already awake and the truck had stopped. He motioned for me to follow and we climbed down. We walked for a while in silence with hungry stomachs. A head was an abandoned wearhouse that actually was lively. He smiled and ran inside, I followed and inside was a bunch of teens. They had a stage, DJ booth, bar, couches, tables, and instruments. Ezra ran over to some girls and wrapped his arms around them. The girls obviously knew him. "Kanan met Ivy, Harley, and Shannon. Girls meet Kanan." The girls waved and giggled.

The girls whispered to Ezra and he smiled. "I'm gonna go voice then Ivy, then Shannon, and then you Ezra." Shannon said. They nodded and she got on stage. Harley grabbed the mic and had the DJ put on a song.

Everyone cheered her on and she took a bow in the end. Shannon went up and then began her song.

She smiled and blushed stepping down from the stage while the room of people clapped and shouted out positive complements. Ivy and Ezra smiled and went up together. Ivy grabbed a mic "Me and Ezra are going to do a duet and then Ezra will go solo." I was curious at Ezra and his hidden talents. They soon began.

I was astonished at Ezra and Ivy's performance. Ivy hugged Ezra, whispered something in his ear, and stepped off the stage. Ezra started to sing and I couldn't help but smile at his song.

Ezra took a bow and came over to the girls by the bar and got some sodas. They talked a while and hours later Ezra said his goodbyes and we left. We found another ride, just a truck with metal tubes on it. We climbed inside a tube that could fit both of us and soon it started to rain and the truck drove on. I looked as Ezra sat on the edge of the tube letting the rain drip onto his face. He smiled and closed his eyes at the sensation of the rain on his face. I watched him for a few minutes until he crawled back inside away from the rain and fell asleep. I rested my hand on his shoulder and felt him shiver. My first reaction was to pull him close to my chest to warm him up and soon sleep took over.
