Ashton POV

I let go off him as his cries died down. He gave me a small but pure smile and I helped him lay himself on the bed. The meds he took before I came here did their job, and he went take a little nap for his well being. I got up from the bed and fixed the glasses that I wore before coming here. I went near the door and opened it. Carlton immediately came towards me and held my face in his hands,

"Did he do anything bad to you?"

His face showed nothing but worry for my safety and anger towards Damian. I cupped his face and replied,

"He's my Boss Carlton. If he does anything wrong his father will shove him off the CEO position he has acquired... That was the one warning given to him by Easton Sir. So don't worry, and right now he needs you the most. As his best friend and childhood mate. You should comfort him and not me. Now go in and help him dress up. The doctor told that once he gains consciousness he can leave. And his I.V treatment is also completed. So go and help him. I'll wait here with Mr. Donovan to complete the paperwork..."

He nodded giving me a small kiss on my lips and went in to help Damian. I turned to Jace and both of us went to do the payment and paperwork required for Damian's discharge. I was filling the release form when Jace spoke,

"I have a question..."

And I looked at him and nodded. He continued,

"How many guys are in love with you exactly?"

I frowned and left a little chortle,

"I don't know. But I do know one thing... That I only love Carlton Drake... And no one else..."

He stiffened a laugh and folded his hands over his chest. Leaning a bit close to me he said,

"You never know. You might fall for someone else than Drake..."

I didn't quite get what he was trying to achieve with that statement. So I shrugged indifferently and continued to fill the form. I submitted the paper and turned around to see Carlton helping Damian walk across the hall by lending him his shoulder. I smiled at the sight of them being friendly again. I heard Jace scoff and mumble something in French,

"regarde ces deux abrutis essayant de gagner ce qui m'appartient..."

(look at those two dorks trying to win what's mine...)

He left a dark chuckle and grabbed my hand dragging me towards them both. As soon as Damian and Carlton spotted Jace holding onto me their eyes turned dark. And both of them looked like hungry alphas trying to claim their Omega. Which is me. Damn my crazy brain! I yanked my hand away from Jace's hold and gave him a little smile,

"You should help Sir too... He looks weak and might not able to walk..."

Jace eyes turned dark and both Damian and Carlton let out a sniffled laugh. Jace and Carlton began to help Damian and all four of us made it to Jace's car. They made sit Damian in the backseat and I joined him there to look after his condition. Carlton got visibly irritated and sat on the front passenger seat. Jace revved the car to life and we were off to the hotel. Damian was still sleepy because of the meds. So I shifted close to him and gave him my shoulder to rest on. He happily agreed and slept like a baby. A smile lingering on his bruised lips. Carlton was watching this entire thing happening from the rearview mirror. I gave him a big smile and he returned it. Then my eyes met with Jace's. He was just staring at me through the mirror. His face stoic as a stone. Not showing even an ounce of emotions. He turned his eyes away to the road and spoke,

"Ashton... When I drop off Damian in the hotel I want to take you somewhere..."

Before I could reply Carlton spoke,

"Where are going to take my boyfriend Donovan?"

"Don't worry Carlton, I just wanted to discuss a few things about the deal since you all are leaving tomorrow. I don't think Damian is any position to come for it. So I am going to take Ashton to my office for the confirmation of the deal. What say Ashton?"

I said nothing but nodded my head. This deal is extremely important for the company. And Damian being not well, I should handle it myself. Jace gave me a wide grin and continued to drive his expensive Ferrari GTC4Lusso.

After some while the car came to a halt in front of the hotel. Damian had woken up by then and Carlton carried him in leaving me with Jace in his car. I got out of the car to bid him and Damian goodbye. Both of them had a similar scowl on their handsome faces. When they both entered the hotel I sat on the front passenger seat with Jace. He gave me a smirk and drove the car to his office. His office building was so huge. It looked more bigger than Williams Technologies building.

I got out of the car when we reached the parking lot. Jace to got out and lead me to the elevator that leads directly to his office floor. The elevator dinged open and both of us went in his luxurious personal office.

I was looking around the interior of his massive office when I felt him stand behind me and put his hands on my shoulder. He leaned down, his breath fanning over my ear,

"You see this painting... It was made by my sister when she graduated art school... Isn't it beautiful?"

"Yes it is Jace!"

"You know what's more beautiful than this?"

"W-what...?"

He turned me around and took off my glasses. His cerulean eyes were boring into me and his breath was fanning over my face. He took a long breath and spoke,

"Your eyes... They are the most beautiful thing I've ever saw in the entire world..."

And then he kissed me...
