The morning was really really good for Sidharth, waking up next to his girlfriend. He woke up earlier than he usually would with his alarm, it was nature's call. Her bedroom was colder than the temperature he was used to, the windows weren't very properly sealed he guessed. The weather wasn't chilly but quite cold.

Slowly getting out of the bed was tough, Shehnaaz slept like a log, stiff and heavy to move. She looked funny though, with hair all over the pillow and face half pushed into it. She was still holding his arm she chose last night and had curled up in it. He tucked her hair to see the half of her face and nudged her a little.

"Morning Baby." He whispered and who was he kidding, she didn't move a muscle.

"Ahm! Shehnaaz." He cleared his throat and called her out a little louder, getting up with that.

"Mmm. So ja chup karke." She whispered, not completely out of her slumber and hugged him.

"Mai ja raha hu, call karna mujhe." He whispered back, tucking her under the sheets properly. The winter season usually didn't show up in cities like Mumbai a lot but the temperatures would drop down a little before the sunrise.

"Tu ja raha hai?" She woke up once she understood he was leaving.

"Ha." He nodded, leaving the bed to freshen up.

Woah, realization dawned. It was 6 in the morning and his time to leave after the lovely time they spent together. She got up to prepare something for the two of them, though she wasn't creative about what she should cook. She made tea.

"Oye, subha subha kya bana rahi hai?" He joined her in the kitchen, back in his office wear.

"Chai." She replied, yawning.

"Someone's so not a morning person." He chuckled.

"Yeah, I'm not and I'm wondering how am I going to bear with you like this. Itni subha uthne ki kya zarurat thi." She made a face, while serving him a cup of tea with biscuits.

"Sorry sweetheart, mujhe workout karna hota hai isliye jaldi utha." He replied, watching her yawn continuously and being amazed how she could still look cute with that frown on her face.

"Tu ache se soya na? I know my bed's not that fluffy as yours and small as well." She mentioned, sitting with him on the couch. She felt like asking if he was comfortable and liked his stay here with her because mostly it had been her staying at his place and he gave her no chance to complain about anything.

"Ha, mai ache se soya. Your bed's good, I wish I could have used it for more." He replied with a wink and earned a smack on his shoulder.

"Subha hi chalu ho gaya tera!" She shook her head, focussing on her tea to avoid looking at him.

"Shaam ko milte hai phir. I'll call you okay." He said, taking his leave.

"Aur chai achi bani hai." He kissed her cheek with that and walked towards the door.

She followed him out and waved at him through the roads, watching him drive away. She was quiet, wishing he wouldn't go and it would be even better if the two could stay the entire day together.

Such were her days, yesterday she didn't reveal but she was the happiest when he decided to stay over at her request and wore those pair of shorts and t-shirt. She knew he wouldn't have been very comfortable in those, in someone else's clothes to be precise, keeping in mind his specifications about his stuff, cleanliness and hygiene. It meant a lot to her. She hugged that T-shirt before putting it up for wash, oh how hopelessly she was falling for him that she was missing him since the moment he left. Convincing herself that she'd be seeing him again in the evening, she got ready for work.

Sidharth was talking to his mother after lunch that day, Rita Ji was asking him to come over for dinner this weekend.

"Aap kisi ko invite karne wali hai? Bua aane wali hongi toh mai pehle bol deta hu, mai nahi aunga." He told her.

"Mujhe bolne toh de! Teri bua ko nahi, Shehnaaz ko bulana chahti hu mai." She replied, almost laughing, and awaited her son's reaction.

"Oh. Mai baat karta hu usse." He replied.

"Ha, aur bolna ki simple sa dinner hai. Nothing big." She added.

"Preeti rahegi, she's big." He commented, laughing a little bit.

"Ha ha!" She mocked.

"Acha Mom. Mujhe next week ek press conference me jana pad sakta hai, Panvel." He informed her.

There was a press conference taking place among the budding businessmen and the media regarding the latest technology updates. And then there was his sister's due date coming in the next few days or weeks or so.

"It's okay. Hum toh hai na yaha." She replied.

"I so wanted to be with her, didn't know about this conference earlier or I would have declined the invitation." He mentioned feeling really upset if he wouldn't be able to be with his sister on the day she'd be delivering her baby.

"Beta you haven't left yet and nor she's gone into labour now. Jo hoga, dekhenge na. I'm sure she'll understand." His mother assured him.

"Hmm. Okay I'll see you tomorrow." He replied, hanging up.

He wasn't sure how Shehnaaz was going to react to the dinner. She used to get uncomfortable at the events, he didn't take him long to make that out. The differences between their status, their income had been bothering her and he didn't really have any idea how to assure her that it didn't matter if she didn't earn as much as he did. She made him happy.

"Aunty ne mujhe bulaya hai? Ghar pe?" Shehnaaz was surprised to know that his mother invited her over for a simple dinner. His family liked her? Really? She wanted to be happy about it but couldn't fathom at the pace the event took place.

"Dobara bolu?" He asked her and she rolled her eyes at him. The two were hanging out at his apartment later in the evening.

"Teri shaadi ke liye mera hath toh nahi mangenge?" She squinted her eyes at him.

"Mange toh tujhe koi problem hai?" He asked her back.

"Hai! Mujhe nahi karni abhi." She announced.

"Sorry boss, aisa nahi hota humare me. Hath ek hi baar mangenge, karna hai toh ha bol. Warna tata bye bye." He shrugged, playing along.

"Ye t-!!! Ye toh galat hai. Mujhe time chahiye!" She demanded.

"Nahi milega. Take it or leave it." He smirked, squaring his shoulders.

"Shaadi se pehle ye haal hai! Baad me kya hoga?" She mumbled, twisting the corner of her mouth.

"Kya boli tu?" He asked, scooting closer.

"Kuch nahi. Tu seriously bata, teri Mummy ne sacchi meko bulaya hai?" She asked again, seriously this time.

"Ha baba. Kitni baar puchegi tu?" He replied.

"Thoda unbelievable sa laga na. I mean we haven't been dating for long, you know." She shrugged, laying her head on his shoulder. He simply hummed, she wasn't wrong if one could take from her point of view.

"Unhone meri family ke bare me pucha toh?" She worriedly asked.

"Nahi puchenge." He assured her.

"Nahi, ab tu ghar ja ke unko bolega mat puchna. Jitna puchenge mai bata dungi." She added, trying not to hide anything here. Believing that might make her impression worse.

"Thik hai." He replied.

"They like you already." He told her then.

"What? What did you just say?" She felt like she didn't hear him properly the first time.

"You heard me." He shrugged, fishing his phone out.

"Nahi phone rakh. Aur phir se bol." She asked him, unable to contain her excitement and smile.

"Pizza order kar raha hu, chalega?" He asked her.

"Jo mai puch rahi hu uska jawab de na!!" She replied, attempting to snatch his phone but she couldn't because he was too quick and had already seen it coming.

"Do regular buffalo chicken, thin crust chalega?" He asked, as he kept playing.

"Yaar please." She whined, grabbing the neck of his t-shirt into her fists.

"Kya darling?" He replied.

"Bolna phirse jo tune bola tha." She asked.

"Do regular buffalo chicken with thin crust." He repeated himself.

"Ahaan! Sidharth Shukla, I hate you!" She shouted, throwing the cushion next to her on his face.

"Ayy! Maar kyu rahi hai?!" He laughed, not able to hold himself back anymore.

"Hass le, nahi tu pehle hasle! Mazak lagta hai tujhe?" She shouted at him and continued to throw pillows at him.

"Sorry, I'm sorry. Maar mat please." He immediately surrendered.
