Sidharth had managed to assure Shehnaaz that he was only glad to have her in his life and he wouldn't leave her. But her way of processing thoughts bothered him, her lack of confidence and need for validation made him worry.

Did she not have enough faith in him? Had he not been there for her to believe that she thought her past would make a difference?

Getting over her insecurities and healing over the past was not his job, he could only help her. Still, his efforts would matter a lot in the process and he must not let her feel left out and any less in their relationship. He was originally planning on staying the night but he just couldn't, seeing Shehnaaz was the first thing on his mind past the dinner.

He was on his way back to Mumbai, tired of the meetings and greetings but the thought of her crying over something where she wasn't even at fault would let him sleep. It was around 11 at night when he left for her place and it was pretty late when he parked his car outside Shehnaaz's building. Call it his presence of mind or heedful habit, he carried the pair of extra keys to her apartment in his car. Luckily they came in handy today when he quietly unlocked her apartment and walked in to find the place unexpectedly loud.

He could hear the tap running and Shehnaaz hurling inside the bathroom. He panicked but the empty beer bottles in the living room reminded him of the aftermath. She was throwing up as a consequence of too much alcohol.

He walked into her room and waited for her outside the bathroom, he knocked at the door when he couldn't hear the water running anymore. "Are you okay?" He asked when she didn't respond.

"Kon hai?" She asked and he chuckled.

"It's me, baby. Tu thik hai?" He replied.

"How did you get inside? Mera phone hai mere pass, I'm calling the police right away!" She shouted afraid of who broke into her apartment so late at night.

"It's Sidharth! I used my spare keys! Calm down!" He replied immediately, realizing she must have panicked hearing from him at such an unexpected hour.

"Tu!?" She opened the door with a shocked face.

"Raat ke teen baje aise kisi ke bathroom pe kon knock karta hai? Mera heart fail ho jana tha abhi andar!" She exhaled a deep breath and emptied a glass of water she always had near her nightstand.

"Yeah sorry, actually mai dinner ke baad nikal gaya tha. You okay?" He replied, following her.

"Ha, I'm fine. Ek minute mai change karke aayi." She nodded, heading towards her wardrobe.

"Kuch khayega? Meko bhook lag rahi hai, mai maggie banane wali hu." She asked while changing.

"Nahi, tu khale. Maine kuch khaya toh phir neend nahi aayegi." He replied, simply observing her yet again reserved behaviour. Was she playing cool like it didn't happen or what?

"Mujhe toh midnight snacks ke Bina neend nahi aati!" She chuckled, walking towards him and gathering him into a quick hug.

"Missed you." She mumbled, faintly.

"I missed you too!" He replied, smiling as equally as her.

"Maine pareshan kar diya na? Tujhe aise late night nahi aana chahiye tha, akela drive karta aaya hoga. Janti hu mai tujhe." She mentioned.

"Anyway, aana tha." He shrugged, hugging her back tightly. They parted, hearing her stomach go all 'Grrr!' and laughed out loud.

"Haaye, chal jaldi. Bohot bhook lagi hai." She giggled, taking him to the kitchen. He pulled out the packet of Maggie by the time she put water on the stove.

"Khane me kya khayi?" He casually asked.

"Pasta." She replied and straightened her back realizing he didn't know she had slipped dinner.

"I had mutton biryani, ek mast Lakhnavi cuisine mangvaya tha investor ne. I tell you deal apni jagah lekin wo mutton biryani khake zyada maza aaya tha!" He told her.

"Muh me pani aa raha hai..! Haaye!" She sighed and swallowed a lump of saliva down her throat, stirring the spatula to cook maggie.

"Teri deal sign ho gayi?" She asked then.

"Han, guess my charm worked." He smirked, replying.

"Charm huh? Presentation hi diya na? Ya phir kuch aur?!" She raised her brows.

"Bakwas mat kar." he hit her head as both broke into a huge fit of laughter at her impish remark. She had her midnight snack in bed while he watched her gobble her food, slurping the leftovers in the bowl as well.

"Tu thak gaya hai na, so ja na!" She told him while wiping her face.

"Tu aayegi tab sounga na." He whined, removing his watch and shirt to make himself comfortable in the bed.

"Aa gayi! Baby!" She hopped in and occupied the space next to him.

He smiled, cupping her face and bringing it closer to have that one kiss he had been yearning for. Her soft ones moved against his and filled the voids in their hearts, they had been carrying lately. Caressing each other with the most tender touches and slipping into each other's mouths, they had their eyes closed.

"Jab tu royi, mujhe bohot kharab laga." He mumbled, it made her pause at that very instant.

"Sweetheart, I might have been busy with work but I sweat I'm thinking about you all the time. About us all the time. Aisa nahi ho sakta ke mai kaam ko itni importance du ki humari baat adhuri reh jaye, maine sirf tujhe space de raha tha." He added, looking at her.

"I- I understand Sidharth. You don't need to justify, baby, I was just drunk." She replied, caressing his face and asking him to hold on to his horses.

"You weren't just drunk, you were crying." He stated. She wasn't surprised at the fact that he was being so considerate, as he had always been.

"I was somewhere insecure about it, you know- Sidharth, mai tujhse pehle isliye nahi bata payi kyuki mai confident nahi thi ke tu iss baat ko kitni seriously lega. I didn't know if I was making sense or not, I was worried and at the same time glad that you weren't being indifferent about it. Tu samajh raha hai mai kya bol rahi hu?" She said, hoping he'd understand yet again.

"I get it. Already told you, flawed or not it'll always be you!" He repeated himself and leaned forward, resting their heads together.

"Also, just know that you deserve the best, you deserve the world and I'm gonna give you that! Koi qualification nahi hoti kisi ke sath rehne ke liye, abhi, is waqt, mai sirf Sidharth hu aur tu sirf Shehnaaz hai. Hum sath hai aur khush hai, it's all that matters! Ye businessman aur waitress wala kachra nikal de apne dimag se, samjhi!?" He added, looking right into her misty eyes.

She nodded, pursing her lips to hold back her tears and smiling. 'The fact that you now know about all the flaws I have, I'm not sure if you'd even want to be with me anymore.' she recalled her own words and laughed at her misconception. She had underestimated the strength of their relationship. She didn't waste another minute and hugged him tight, sobbing softly in his arms and thanking her stars that they had gifted her with this wholesome man.

"I'm sorry, mai aisa nahi sochungi aage se. Tu aisehi bata diya karna mujhe." She mumbled.

"Toh uske liye jo chal raha dimag me woh batana padta hai na, mai tere me toh ghus nahi sakta na!" He replied, caressing her back.

"Pi ke talli nahi huyi hoti toh ye drama pata nahi kitne din aur chalta!" He chuckled and she hit his back in response.

"Ahaaan! Ho gaya na abhi, mazak kyu bana raha hai? Samajh gayi mai." She whined, parting away.

"Itna rona dhona karke samjhi." He whispered under his breath but she could still hear him.

"Sidharth!" There came her stern face.

"Acha sorry baby." He apologized immediately.

"Better!" She chuckled, pulling him in for a kiss and enveloping her arms around his neck. Equally reciprocating the kiss, he held her back and got her into his lap for further action. Passionately into the moment, they entertained each other with a steamy makeout before falling asleep in each other's arms.

"Arey yaar!" Sidharth was annoyed when the sound of the doorbell just wouldn't stop.

"Someone's at the door, uth! Shehnaaz yaar!" She shook her but she didn't budge so he took the matter into his hands. He peeped through the hole to see who it was but there was nobody.

"What the f-" he almost swore when a familiar face came across his vision. It was her aunty, Harjot.
