"Sidharth!" Shehnaaz shook him, waking him up early in the morning.

"Hmm?" He answered without opening his eyes.

"Uth ja, aaj se mujhe office jana hai." She told him, slipping out of the bed and sauntering into the washroom.

"Hmm." He replied, finding it easy to fall asleep again. His alarm rang, bringing him out of his trance and he realized it was just 6.

"Tu itna jaldi kaise uth gayi be?" He asked, walking into the washroom.

"Nind hi nahi aayi ache se tension ke maare." She replied, while brushing.

He nodded, washed his face and went ahead with his day to workout a little. He jogged and exercised as per his daily routine and returned home to find the breakfast ready, while she was buttoning up her shirt and tucking it inside her pants.

"It's not even 8! Tujhe 10 baje jana hai!" He stated.

"Mai galti se bhi late nahi hona chahti, aaj pehla din hai. Yadi aj acha gaya toh aage bhi acha jayega. Meko koi risk nahi lena tha." She replied, opening the drawer and picking up a pair of small studs to wear.

"Yeh thik lag raha hai na? Mai over dressed toh nahi lag rahi?" She asked.

"You're looking absolutely fine. Relax baby!" He replied, taking her in a hug.

"Eww! Chal ja naha ke aa. Kitni smell aa rahi hai tere se!" She scrunched her nose, pushing him away. It made him laugh and he obliged, getting ready in time to drop her off at the office on his way.

"Kuch tips de? Tu apne interns se kya expect karta hai?" She asked him on their way.

"Hmm, as an intern.. teri basic qualities tujhe aage leke jayenge. I mean knowledge toh hoga lekin tujhe kaam karna hoga, clerical stuff, kisi ko assist karna and all that. Bas dimag shaant rakhna aur ho jayega sab. Aur girna nahi!" He replied and his words really eased her off her nervousness, joking a little to lighten up her mood as well. She smiled looking away.

"Yahi hai? Stitched and Darned?" He asked, looking at the building ahead of them through the roads.

"Ha, yahi hai. Maine sab Google kar rakha hai iss jagah ke bare me." She chuckled, answering him.

"Pata hai, this is like just 10 minutes away from my office." He beamed letting her know that they'd be working so close.

"Arey waah!" She was equally excited about it.

"There you go!" He parked the car in, wishing her luck before she left.

"Yeah." She nodded, took a deep breath and pulled him close, placed her head on his shoulder and dropped a kiss there.

"Hug kar." She demanded from him and he readily wrapped his arms around her, while they sat in silence for a minute before she left.

In the office, he didn't realize how much of a work had been pending before the launch day. A short notice meeting had been called to re-adress how they were planning to do the promotions. Pre-launch marketing, a range of marketing efforts focused on generating buzz and excitement for a new product or service before it launches. Their goal was to build up anticipation and interest so customers would be eager to buy their products when launch day would finally arrive.

So to create the hype, they had fixed meetings with the young and leading actors and actresses from the film industry. Aditya Singhania, his rumoured girlfriend Shraddha Oberoi along with some trending social media influencers were called to promote their Fitbit through some ads. A series of shoots were scheduled after the contract was signed and a small alliance was formed.

"What's this EDA thing? Sounds high tech." The actor asked.

"It stands for electrodermal activity, it measures the neurally mediated effects on sweat gland permeability, observes as changes in the resistance of the skin to a small electrical current or as differences in the electrical potential between different parts of the skin take place." Vidit Bajaj answered.

"I'm sorry what?" The actress asked, she didn't even get a word.

"I mean to say that there's an EDA scan app that will track the changes in your heart rate and electrodermal responses like tiny electrical changes on your skin, so you can see how your body responds during different situations, while talking, walking, working out or sleeping." Vidit explained.

"Ah, okay. Sounds cool! We cannot wait for these cool fitbits!" She smiled at them.

Along with Bajaj, Sidharth's new business partner, the empire had welcomed advanced technology into the company. Their Fitbit could manage stress with an innovative EDA sensor and put heart health first with an ECG app on its advanced health programme. All of this began when engineer Vidit's technology needed funds and he had some contacts who introduced him to Sidharth. Even though Sidharth wasn't into investing yet, he sought to help the boy by further introducing him to his investors who had denied to put their money at stake for his technology that was heavily expensive. Even Sidharth was disheartened upon the news that the boy's hardwork wasn't even worth a try according to the old businessmen. Being the ardent believer of technology, Sidharth had encouraged himself to invest into Vidit's technology and use it in Mobitechtron itself. The rest was history, Bajaj was a gem in disguise and they were going to take their accessories empire to another level.

"Sir, aaj prototype ki testing hogi." He was informed by his manager.

"Would you like to test yourself?" Vidit asked him.

"Me? Let's see." Sidharth happily wore the Fitbit before loosening up his shirt a little and allowing himself to jog outside their workshop.

"Now let's check out your score." Vidit said, taking a look at the Fitbit that was connected through a screen. Sidharth's EDA score was pretty normal, however it could detect mild stress.

"Kya sir, itni badi empire hai aapki, aapko kis baat ka stress?" A boy from Vidit's team teased.

"CEO hu beta, tu nahi samjhega!" Sidharth replied, catching his breath from the jog and laughing. A little later, he found Shehnaaz's missed calls on his phone.

"Hey, hii. I'm almost on my way, aa raha hu tujhe lene! Just wait." He immediately called her back.

"Hold on baba, mai nikal gayi hu. 10 minute me maine ghar pahoch jana hai, tu lene mat aa." She replied. On her way back home, she picked up Kachoris from the Kaka's small restaurant to celebrate her first day at her internship with him.

"Ooh! Party wala mahol lag raha hai?" He chuckled, watching her arrange the plates. They laughed as he walked up to her and gathered her in a hug.

"How was your day?" He asked.

"It was so good! Haye mai kya batau? Initially I was worried. Like mere toh samajh hi nahi aa raha tha, waha sare mere se young young the. Awkward hora tha phir Devashish sir aaye, he was like, kya aadmi hai yaar. So stylish, so simple and so humble at the same time. Wo bhi itna bada designer!" She began like she had been waiting for him to ask this question. For the rest of the night, all Sidharth did was nod and follow her through the conversation she carried.

"Matlab aisa bhi nahi hai ke koi friend nahi bana, there's a guy named Rizwan. Wo bhi abhi mere class me tha, usi course me. I just didn't get to talk to him but when we met today, he recognised me. Maine kaha, chalo koi toh hai mere sath. Pata poore batch me sirf do ladkiyan hai, mai aur Aditi! Baaki poore 13 ladke!" She exclaimed, filling him with the details while they had dinner.

"Oh wow! Launde toh bhare pade hai udhar." He commented and chuckled.

"Haina! Not like it's uncomfortable but phir bhi kuch aur ladkiyan hoti toh baat alag hoti. But anyways, maine toh uss Aditi se baat hi nahi ki. Badi pricey aur attitude wali lagi mujhe wo, maine kaha Isse acha toh Rizwan hi hai. Kam se kam bhao toh nahi kha raha, kham-kha. Even the other boys there were so nice, at least smile toh kar rahe the." She replied.

"Hmm, toh launde tujhe smile de rahe the?" He asked, while they got all comfy on the bed.

"Ha.. kya? Nahi yaar. Smile de nahi rahe the, smile karke hota hai na wo- hello mera naam ye hai. Friends bana rahe the!" She clarified totally oblivious to his witty remark because her head was occupied with today's happenings.

"Aur pata phir Sir ne hume dikhaye kapde ke material, konsa kis season me demand me hota hai and all. There are so many things to keep in mind before you-" she said and momentarily turned towards him to find out that he had already slept.
