Akita's POV

She slipped into clean clothes. These are terrible, I hate this color. She checked her form in the mirror. The murky brown shirt went well with the dark blue jean shorts. It'll have to do for now. Next hair cut and dye.

She grabbed the scissors. She took a strand of hair and clipped it, cutting it very short. She repeated this continuously until her was so short she could pass for a guy. If I wear a hat I could be a guy, a guy with boobs. Her hair lay in an unkempt pile at her feet.

She grabbed the box of hair dye off the table. Permanent lavender hair dye. She read off the label. Holding a brush and some foil. She set to work.
  
            **Time Skip**
She looked into the mirror again. Now contacts. Her dark brown eyes would be covered. What color are these? A post it note fell from the package.

It is wise not to change your eyes while wearing contacts.

What does that mean? She shrugged. The box said the contacts were maroon. She slid them onto her eyes.   Now time to change clothes again. She kept the shorts and picked out a light gray shirt. At least its summer. She thought as she slipped into her flip-flops. Oh! The note was for ghouls!

She sighed. Juno sat on the couch completely changed. He had no hair and wore shades over his eyes. He had a baseball cap perched haphazardly on his bald head.

"I wish things were different," He said.

"Me, too,"

He beckoned for her to sit next to him. Willingly, she sat. "Tomorrow I'll treat you with some good coffee."

She nodded. "That sounds nice,"

The sun slowly set outside of their little shack.

"It sure is quiet despite all that's happened,"

"Yeah,"

She closed her eyes and drifted away.
