"Kurosu," the teacher said, making me look up. He was talking to Yuuki, not me. 

"Kiriyu!" The teacher said next, but Zero was asleep. I wold know, since I'm beside him and he is snoring lightly.

"Teacher, Kiryuu is also asleep..." someone muttered as the teacher sighted.

"Well, Detention for the both of tem!" the teacher said finally, making me sigh. Great, more time together.

"Zero," I said shaking him lightly, "You've got detetion now..."

"Yuuki," he said, completely ignoring me. "I can hear you."

Seriously, he doesan't even look my way. 

"Hey Kira!" a guy from class said standing in front of me. "Do you want to hang out or something?"

I smiled sweetly, even though I wished I could say no. This was one way to get Zero's attention... "That'll be nice!" I did a closed eye smile.

"C-Cool!" he said blushing as he too smiled.

I spent the rest of the day with this guy, and no, it didn't work. Not like I didn't know, but still. I sighted in annoyance as I sat on my bed.

"What does a girl have to do?" I muttered angrily. I didn't have to share a room, because there weren't enough girls or something.

I looked out the window and saw Yuuki and Zero below me.

"Looks like we're in for a quiet and peacefull night, we probably don't need to be here!" Yuuki said 

"I know that the chairman believes that the members of the night class are pasifists but... I don't believe it." Zero said seriously, making me confused. What? "And there's no way in hell, that I'll let my guard down. That's why, I don't understand how a grown up like him could ever co-operate with them. You said it yourself once. The reason why they look like humans, is so they can hunt us down efficiently."

What are they talking about? The night class aren't human? Is that even possible? Well... I guess I have to find out.

I ran out of the academy at full speed, but once I was outside I bumped into someone and we both fell.

"Oh," she said looking at me. She was with a friend. "K-Kira... are you a prefect now to?"

"No... I'm sneaking out." I said standing up.

The sighted relieved, but I noticed she was hurt.

"Can you walk?" one asked 

"I don't think so, it hurts to much." 

"Hey girls - KIRA?" Yuuki said surprised.

"I-um... hey Yuuki," I said sighing... way to get caught.

"But- You know wandering around-"

"Yuuki," I interrupted sighing. "She's hurt."

"WHAT? You're bleeding?" she said sared. "This i bad, get back to the dorms!"

And just like that, she suddenly had a sword. What the hell.

"How scary," a guy from the nigh class said... I think his name is Kain or somehing. "Wouldn't expect less from the chairman's daughter.

"It's Kain Akatsuki and Aidou Hanabusa from the night class!" the two morons said blushing.

"We smelt blood and decided to come take a look around," Aidou said as he smirked. Oh no, wait... please don't tell me their that type of 'monster'. "You really are mean Yuuki, after all, we came here for you."

He smelled the air as he smirked.

"Ah, such a nice scent... the scent of your blood..." He continued as I finally accepted it. They had to be that. What else?

"KYA! He said we smell nice!" th morons continued as I sighed, until I noticed Yuuki's bleeding hand. Oh skittles.

"Did you fall earlier?" Aidou asked, but I snapped his hand away.

"Leave Yuuki alone Aidou, I don't think your fans would wish to see you do that here." I muttered as I stepped in front of yuuki.

"Oh, the other daughter of the chairman... I didn't know you knew about us."

"Well, it's obvious ," I lied. "It's been for quite some time."

"Has it really?" he asked raising an eyebrow. "You know, I believe this is the first time I see you around..."

"You probably haven't. Now, you should head back. Now." I said standing tall. I actually saw confussion in his eyes as he started to back away, like he wasn't controling himself. Untill he stopped, and smelled the air again.

"Seems Yuuki wasn't the only one not taking precautions," Aidou said as I grunted. It was true, I hurt my knee a bit when I fell. "You can take her Hanabusa,"

I was suddenly in a strong grip as Kain held me in his arms, however he seemed not to be going to bite me. Yuuki wasn't as lucky as Aidow bit her hand. I've got to say, as much as it confused me, I wasn't really scared. I feel as if I knew all along what they were... as if I somehow knew, but I didn't.

Soon Zero appeared, and I felt like Yuuki was lucky after all. Zero had a gun, and when I saw the cold look he gave Aidou, I was really scared. like shaking scared. What is wrong? Sure they are vampires... not like they had a choise! I heard a loud bang, and closed my eyes scared to what would be there.

"Kira," I heard Yuuki gasp, "You're scaring her, let her go!"

It took me a moment to realize she tought Kain was the one scaring me since I was still in his grip, but I gripped his shirt when he was going to let go, still refusing to open my eyes.

"He didn't kill anyone," Kain assured and that's when I opened my eyes reluctantly, to find a scared Aidou.

I sighed in relief as I saw him complete.

"What were you thinking Zero!" I said, for once in my life looking at him with a fierce expression, and he seemed surpriced. "You could've really hurt Aidou-sama!"

"Didn't you see he was biting Yuuki?" Zero asked in disbelief.

"Well, I bet if I was a vampire it would be pretty hard to restrain yourself at the mere smell of blood, let alone seeing it!"

"I'm not the one who's wrong here Kira!" he said glaring.

"Sure." I said glaring as well. "Are you alright Aidou-sama?"

"Why yes, I am." he said as he smirked at Zero. "Your blood also smell kind of nice you know?"

"Ah," I said looking at my little cut in my knee. "Sorry, I wasn't carefull enough and I fell-"

"Don't ask them for forgiveness!" Zero said taking my arm and pushing me behind him. Now that is something I hated, people telling me waht to do. In any other sircumstance I would be excited, but after seeing Zero today... I was really scared of him.

"Don't tell me what to do!" I argued as I got away from him. 

"Ah, Kira-chan," Aidou said as he looked at me. "You're afraid of him?"

I looked at the ground then, and I felt Zero's gaze on me.

"You're in a forest, with vampires, and you're afraid of me?" He said unbelieving, glaring at me.

I flinched a bit from his hard glare.

"You're unbelievable Kira! Don't you understand?" he shouted annoyed.

"No Zero, I don't!" I said still not looking at him. "It's not their fault what they are... so what if they drink blood? Lions eat lams all te time. It's a pretador and pray... a cycle. Nothing you can do about it. Besides, if they've been in the school this long, I can actually admire their control since-"

"He just bit Yuuki!" he shouted as I flinched once again. I looked at his hand to find the gun still there and I gulped nervously... something told me he wouldn't actually hesitate...

"W-Well, I bet it's been a l-"

"Just go away Kira." Zero said coldly. 

I looked at him hurt, and I felt tears leave my eyes. All this time I've loved him, and even if he scared me to death, those words hurt like hell. I ran back to the academy and locked myself in my room.

So the night class are all vampires, huh...

I actually don't think I'll continue this fan-fic, I don't really know where it is going... guess i'll think about it...
