I arrived to the Host Club on time, Ryuu following behind. He had been following all week, and I was quite surprised about how much he'd changed. I was actually laughing along with him. We even hung out after the club, and he'd help me with grocerie shopping. He had told me how his dad promotion helped the family, and he had been studying in Australia, but had to come back to Japan for some business.

I looked towards the club to find the hosts seated in the sofas, all with serious expressions.

"What's going on in here?" I asked confused. Ryuu had his arm around my shoulder since we had been laughing just a second before coming in.

"We cancelled club activities for today," Tamaki said as he glared at Ryuu. "We have something to tell you, Yuki."

"W-What is it?" I asked, suprised by his serious tone.

"Ryuu hasn't been honest about his 'change'," Kaoru said as he pulled me from Ryuu's embrace.

"What are you guys doing?" I said annoyed. "We've been hanging out a whole lot, he has changed-"

"We did some reserch from his stay in Australia," Kyoya said as he glared at Ryuu. "He seems to have a history for gettting in trouble with girls. Apparently, he was quite the player... He was going to be sent home from the number of complaints from the rich families... But he was brought back before that could happen... Since he is now engaged."

"R-Ryuu," I said looking at him with widened eyes.

"Yuki! Don't listen to these idiots!" He said as he glared at Kyoya. "Those are lies! I was never in trouble in Australia! However, I lied... I did come back because my father found me a promising wife. But Yuki! You don't have to get angry! I wasn't pretending all this time! The truth is I love you!"

"W-What are you saying! You're engaged!" I said as I backed off, "I-I'm not inteested that way- we were beng friends-"

"Yuki," Kyoya said with a pained expression. "He is engaged... to you."

"Nani?!" I asked.

"Your grandfather offered your hand in marriage," Kyoya answered.

I turned to Ryuu angrily, everything making sene. "That's why you're being so nice! You wanted to win me over!"

"Come on, Yuki," he said tense. "You should be happy about this. We can finally be together for real-"

"Shut up!" Kaoru yelled angrily. "She won't marry you!"

"There's nothing you can do about it!" Ryuu snapped. "She will be out of Ouran soon. The arrengements ae already made."

"We won't let you-"

"Don't be a hipocrite, Kyoya," Ryuu said with a mean smile. "I know your father was also fighting for her hand, and I know you knew about it since she entered Ouran. Why didn't you tell her huh?"

I turned to Kyoya, feeling betrayed.

"S-Since I entered Ouran?" I whispered.

"I was going to tell you about it," he said so only I could hear. "At first I was following my dad's wish but then I realized this... But I saw you were already into me-"

"You never liked me?" I whispered painfully.

"I like you just," he closed his eyes, brething hard. "Just not like that, Yuki. But I do care for you and that's why I couldn't bear to tell you-"

"Let go of me," I said as his hand went to clear my face of tears. "You'er telling me you made me fall for you, and then wanting to spare my feelings you pretended to like me? Kyoya, you should've just told me."

"I though it was better, you married to me than you married to him," he said as he opened his eyes, a truthfull look. "I wouldn't mind to have you as my wife, as long as I was sure you were safe. I know it was wrong... I'm not very good with friends."

I sighed tiredly, taking a step back from him. I understood he thought he was doing what was best for me... But he faked feelings I thought were real. He only saw me as a friend all along. And now, I'm engaged to Ryuu.

"Nothing can be done," I said as I put on a hard face. "If my grandfather has made the arrangements, I can't go against his wish."

"Yuki!" Hikaru and Kaoru exclaimed angrily. "Don't just give up-"

"You don't know him!" I snapped. "He hates me. He wants me gone and it looks like he finally found a way to get rid of me!"

The club stared at me shocked as I walked towards Ryuu.

"I have no other choise," I said as I closed my eyes painfully.

"Yuki," Tamaki said with a determined expression. "We can help you out of this-"

"Don't," I said as I took Ryuu's hand, which made him pull me towards him. "It's already too late."

"She's out of the club," Ryuu said as we walked out. "Just so you know."

I didn't say a word as I stepped out of Ryuu's limousine and into my house. Now that that's done, I started packing everything in a small bag, trying to be as fast as possible. I had dismissed the maids for today.

When my bag was ready I walked downstairs and opened the door. Does grandfather really expect me to follow his orders? As if.

I started to make my way outside when a voice stopped me.

"Where do you think you're going?" I heard his cold voice from the living room.

"I'm leaving," I said turning around and glaring at him. "I'm not going to be married to Ryuu. I'm tired of putting up with your shit! You don't want me in this family? Fine! Then I'm going away and you won't have to see me ever again!"

Grandfather laughed humorlessly. "You insolent child!"

I was roughly pushed inside by his damned body guards.

"You can't leave now! You're marrying who I say you're marrying and that's that!" He smaked me across the face when we heard the door open again. I looked at the door with widened eyes.

"M-Mom?" I said unsertainly as she glared at my granfather, my dad appeaing beside her.

"What do you think you're doing?" mom said angrily at my shocked grandfather.

"Dad! You said you were taking good care of them! Is this what you mean by good care?" Dad exclaimed shocked. "Darling I'm so sorry-"

"Don't," I said as I looked at them hurt. "This is your fault! You were never here! Where were you two when I needed you, huh?!"

"We thought your granfather-"

"You thought wrong," I said as I glared. "Yuuki and I, we needed you. So now stop making excuses and make charge of your mistakes! You abandoned your children!"

"We did," my mother said sadly. "And now we're going to make up for it."

I looked away, still not trusting them.

"You are to leave this house as of now," my mother seethed to grandfather. "And please notify those people you married my child to that she won't marry anyone she doesn't choose herself. I don't care if you're head of the family! If this is your way to run a family then I won't be a part of it!"

Grandfather glared at her, but left the house notheless.

"You have amazing friends," my mother whispered as I looked up. "They reached us and told us what was happening. I now realize your grandfather had us fed with lies about your wellbeing. I am truly sorry."

I merely nodded as I made my way outisde of the house, leaving my bag in the entrance.

I instantly called Tamaki.

"Yuki-"

"Thanks," I cried silently. "I owe you all so much... Thanks!"

"Were are you?"

I was barely able to talk, but soon enough a limo pulled up and the host club came out, all running over and hugging me.

"Don't ever do that again," Kaoru said seriously. "Don't just give up!"

"I hadn't," I said smiling a little. "I needed Ryuu to belive I had so I could escape home... I wa about to but grandfather was at home... Thankfully my paretns showed up... What would I do without you guys?"

They smiled as we engulfed each other in a group hug, but I noticed Kyoya was still standing by the limo.

I let go of everyone and walked over to him, as he looked up surprised.

"It's going to take me some time to forget it," I said silently.

"I know," he said sadly.

"But I guess I have to thank you," I said, as he looked at me surprised. "In your weird twisted way you thought you were doing what was better for me. Next time, don't pretend to have feelings for a girl... cause it hurts, Kyoya."

Kyoya engulfed me in a hug as tears left my eyes.

"Was I not good enough?" I asked as I closed my eyes.

"You were too good," he contradicted hugging me tighter. "You deserve someone real."

I pulled away and gave him a small smile, and surprisingly, he did aswell.

This will take time getting used too...
