Cole's eyes fluttered close and he fell to the table. "Cole?" Ida called as she anxiously stared at him. How a man could suddenly fall asleep while waiting was something of a great surprise. But...

That was when it dawned on her that they had been drugged. Not that they had eaten, they had perceived what they ought not to have.

Ida looked around, she saw no one. Not the men that were previously eating at their desk, not even the waiter that was smiling cheekily at every customer. They couldn't have disappeared just like that. They couldn't be just illusions to be led into the lion's den.

"Cole?" She called again, doubting and at the same time confused. She had no idea where the two young men that were previously drinking Brandy were. Even the sack she spotted the forbidden Oracle was nowhere to be found.

Something was not proper at this moment. She continued to stare everywhere until she felt there was no need to delay any further. This was an opportunity to do the stuff herself.

She stood up from her seat and took a last look at Cole. Without taking another second, she walked to the entrance only to be shocked by what happened.

A long heavy cage fell on her and she instinctively lifted her head to see where it was from. To her uttermost dismay, her eyes met the two young men who were pretending to be drunk.

"We caught the little witch, it's hard to see one these days." She heard a mocking voice from one of the men in red. His attire looked like how the northern in Venesia dress, the other one whose hair was quite red dressed in a long tail coat and long big blue trousers. He looked quite heavy and older.

"Many pounds in the banks then, not five shillings for caging frogs hahahaha." The second man jested.

Ida angrily looked at the two men as they continued with their boring conversation, she was beyond annoyed and she wondered why she was caged. The most surprising one was how they knew she was a witch.

Why was she caged?

"Who are you?" She inquired.

The two men exchanged glances and they laughed. Their teeth sank even wider.

Does she look like a clown? For a minute, she thought of using her powers to set herself free but on seeing the cage she was locked in, it was almost impossible. The cage was a long and thin one entwined with live wires. In the four corners were the things she was scared of the most.

Caged snakes!

Her bone froze as she saw that there was another snake at the entrance and this wasn't even caged. It was staring at her with its emerald eyes and a long curly and pointy tongue.

"What do you want from me?"

The two men looked down at her. They were on the roof with that one thing she had spotted before. The forbidden Oracle. She could do anything to get hold of that thing! It was too dangerous to be with these drunkards.

"Lucian, should I spill it or we bury her into suspense?" The fat, red-haired man asked the other one in red.

The one in red whose name Ida knew to be Lucian laughed and jumped down from the roof.

Couldn't they do without their awkward laughs?!

He even looked more handsome and crazier, "Let's see. She is cute, the princess would love her."

"Of course," the other man jumped down too, "The princess loves it when witches are not beyond her control."

Tired of their talks, Ida cleared her throat and stared hard at them, "What is it and what do the both of you do to Cole?"

"Cole?" Lucian asked, a bit confused as he stared at his friend, "Alvin, you should not tell me she meant the muggle sitting down there?"

"Yeah... he, unfortunately, fell into the trap. They both did," Alvin replied with another laugh, it sounded even worse than a shriek.

Ida was already tired and she wanted to be straight, "How did the Oracle get to you?"

Alvin and Lucian looked daze before they gathered themselves, of course, she was a witch, she knew what was in the sack. "That is none of your business..." Lucian replied a bit annoyed, "you should be concerned about why we have you in this cage." Lucian completed as he touched the cage at the exact time he mentioned it, surprisingly the two metal that was bent over each other to form a rectangle clung together, caging his hand.

Ida's eyes darted from Lucian to Alvin, "free me now or his hand would stick there forever."
