Right off the bat, I have to say, I do not like any type of pepper or spicy food. I'm more into mild stuff. But quite recently, I looked up the world's hottest peppers. Here is a list of them:
Top Ten Hottest Peppers
(SHU=Scoville Heat Unit/Amount of Spiciness)
1. Carolina Reaper (2,200,000 SHU)
2. Trinidad Moruga Scorpian (2,009,231 SHU)                                                                                                                          3. 7 Pot Douglah (1,853,936 SHU)
4. 7 Pot Primo (1,469,000 SHU)
5. Trinidad Scorpian "Butch T" (1,463,700 SHU)
6. Naga Viper (1,349,000 SHU)
7. Bhut Jolokia/Ghost Pepper (1,041,427 SHU)
8. 7 Pot Barrackpore (1,000,000 SHU)
9. 7 Pot Red (1,000,000 SHU)
10. Red Savina Habanero (500,000 SHU)
So the Carolina Reaper is the hottest pepper. The famous Ghost Pepper is actually number 7 on the list.
Here are three drawings of three peppers:

Of course, the hottest pepper in the world, the Carolina Reaper.

Here is a Trinidad Scorpian "Butch T". It's the 5th hottest pepper.

And finally, the good ol' Ghost Pepper. Many believed that the Ghost Pepper is the hottest but it got knocked down to number 7 on the list. Currently, the Carolina Reaper takes the throne of spiciness.
