Omkara was sitting on mandap with pandit Along with family members and media people who eagerly waiting for the bride than Omkara himself.

Seeing gauri moving towards mandap with red veil on her head totally block the all possibilities for reporters to see her face . They left out heave sigh .

Seeing disappointment on the face of reporters face made the Oberoi clans heart swelled with happiness .

Gauri walks towards the mandap...looking at how beautiful it was decorated...

She stopped...
She looked at her hand...perfectly mehendi stained hand....

Everything just as she wanted ...from the red lengha which adorning her body...this wedding...the groom...the man she love....her Omkara ...to get married to him...becoming his bride was all that she wished for...ever since when...which she has no clue about ...

Everything is happening now...just as she wanted...but she is just a substitute....this not mine...it's belong to someone else...she felt like her heart been sliced down into pieces...the pain is unbearable....tears rolls down on her cheeks dropped on her palms.

There is sudden jerk on her shoulder.....it's prinyanka...

Prinku : Gauri..
Gauri start to move forward without saying anything....till she sit beside Omkara on left side.

Her eyes falls on the fire which kindled in middle of the mandap. The significance of Hindu marriage..as Hindu marriage is consider  as sacrament....as the 'AGNI' fire is the witness . Today the same fire will be witness of her marriage to Omkara .

Shivaay came and sit beside her...her gently placed hand on her head....

Shivaay : Gauri , you always call me Bhaiya and today I will fulfill the relations...

Saying this he gave her three fistful puffed rice to gauri as this significant a brothers wish to his sister's happy marriage .
Gauri offered the puffed rice 3 time to fire...this  ritual is called a homam.

Pandit : Bride and Groom exchange the flower garland 'jai mala'.

Omkara slid the flower garland on Gauri and gauri follows the same on Omkara .

Pandit : It's time to Kanyadaan, brides father please come forward.
(The moment father gave away bride to groom is called kanyadaan. In Hindu tradition , no man can claim a woman until she is offered.

Everyone gasped out of shock as they saw Tej came forward to do the kanyadaan.

Tej : I will do Gauri's kanyadaan.
Saying this he placed his hand on Gauri's head.
Gauri looks on.

Tej : Gauri from now onwards, you are not daughter in law of this house , you will be my daughter...I Tej Singh Oberoi promise that I will fulfil all the responsibility and love of a father to you , I know I might can't replace Shekhar's place but I promise I will be nothing less than him. I know my child it's hard to believe and accept me because I have wronged you many ways before because money and some circumstances have blinded my eyes and made me like that  but now I promise I won't repeat the same mistake again . Will you accept me as your Father Gauri ?
He said this with tears on his eyes.

Listening those words..Gauri feel choked.
She look at Tej's eyes , she saw genuineness and love in his yes.
Her tears starts falling....

Gauri : Papa...
Her voice sound almost sounds like whisper as it stucked.
Gauri hugged Tej...
Tej hugged her and gently rub her back to calm her down.

Everyone who presence there was on tears looking at them.
It's was very overwhelming to see Tej in such a vulnerable conditions.
As no one seen him like that before.

Dadi : Dekha Jhanvi , told you na my son is not bad...Gauri managed to bring my old Tej back.
Saying while wiping her tears .
Jhanvi nods and hugs Dadi from side to calm and gently rubs her arm to her calm down.

Tej wipes gauri's tears and kissed her on forehead.
He made her sit beside Omkara , he took Gauri's hand and placed it on Omkara's hand as gesture of giving her away .

Tej look at Omkara .
Tej: I'm not giving away my daughter Omkara , I'm bringing her home , and I ever saw there is even single tears on my daughter eyes , there is will be no one worst than me . Promise me that you will give her only happiness and nothing else .

Omkara : I promise dad.
With a nod , Tej pour water on Gauri's hand...the water flow through her fingers and runs downs onto Omkara's hand.

Omkara grip her hand tightly.
Gauri feels her breath shudders.
While pandit recites holding hand ritual mantra.

Pandit : Saptapadi time..

bride and groom stand up...

Omkara and Gauri stand up ...anika ties edge of Omkara's shawl and Gauri's pallu...into knot...

The 7 pheras...saat pheras...
The most important ritual in Hindu wedding as its sanctifies the union and social recognition of marriage. Walking around scared fire with seven vows ...uttering 7 difference sacred vows along with each pheras is the groom and brides'S promise to each other with God as witness .

Pandit : Bride and Groom repeat this mantra...

For the First Vow, the Groom promises: "om esha ekapadi bhava iti prathaman" meaning 'You will offer me food and be helpful in every way. I will cherish you and provide welfare and happiness for you and our children'.

The bride complies in return:"dhanam dhanyam pade vadet"' I am responsible for the home and all household, food and finance responsibilities'. Concisely, the bride and groom promise each other prosperity by fulfilling their respective roles in their lives.

For the Second Vow the groom says: "om oorje jara dastayaha", meaning 'Together we will protect our house and children'.

The Bride in return promises "kutumburn rakshayishyammi sa aravindharam", which translates as 'I will be by your side as your courage and strength. I will rejoice in your happiness. In return, you will love me solely'.

During the Third Vow, the Groom says, "om rayas santu joradastayaha" by which he means 'May we grow wealthy and prosperous and strive for the education of our children and may our children live long.'

In return the Bride promises, "tava bhakti as vadedvachacha", meaning 'I will love you solely for the rest of my life, as you are my husband. Every other man in my life will be secondary. I vow to remain chaste'.

During the Fourth Vow, the Groom declares "om mayo bhavyas jaradastaya ha" by which he means 'You have brought sacredness into my life, and have completed me. May we be blessed with noble and obedient children' In return for this promise,

the Bride says "lalayami cha pade vadet", by which she means, 'I will shower you with joy, from head to toe. I will strive to please you in every way I can'.

For the Fifth Vow, the Groom says, "om prajabhyaha santu jaradastayaha", which means 'You are my best friend, and staunchest well-wisher. You have come into my life, enriching it. God bless you'.

To this the Bride says, "arte arba sapade vadet" or 'I promise to love and cherish you for as long as I live. Your happiness is my happiness, and your sorrow is my sorrow. I will trust and honor you, and will strive to fulfill all your wishes'.

During the Sixth Vow, the Groom asks, "Rutubhyah shat padi bhava" which means 'Now that you have taken six steps with me, you have filled my heart with immense happiness. Will you do the kindness of filling my heart with happiness like this for all times?'

to this the Bride replies, "yajna hom shashthe vacho vadet" meaning 'I will always be by your side'.

For the Last and Seventh Vow, the Groom says "Om sakhi jaradastayahga", by which he proclaims 'We are now husband and wife, and are one. You are mine and I am yours for eternity.'

The Bride accepts this proclamation and says "Attramshe sakshino vadet pade", which means 'As God is witness, I am now your wife. We will love, honor and cherish each other forever.'

Pandit : 7 phere has been completed ...bride to be stand on the right side of the groom.

Gauri move her position from left to right .

Pandit : Groom may apply sindoor on bride's forehead .

Anika offer the sindoor box and Omkara took a pinch of it and put it on middle of her forehead .

Gauri closed her  eyes. Tears starts to rolls down from her eyes .

She open her eyes when she doesn't feel Omkara's touch.
She looks on.

Infront of her Omkara standing with wide smile...

Gauri felt confused.
Why he looks so happy ? No...He is not pretending ...this is genuine smile...but why...how can he smile like this when his bride when missing ....

Her thoughts were broken by pandits voice .

pandit : Groom may wear mangalsutra now...

Omkara adorned Gauri neck with beautiful mangalsutra .

Pandit : Wedding is now completed , with witness of this sacred fire ....now I declare you man and wife .

Shivaay : You made it bro ...
Omkara : No we all made it ...
Shivaay hugs Omkara .....

While everyone were on tears of happiness...Gauri stand numb...she doesn't know how to react ...

Prinku : My small bhabhi....

Gauri didn't reciprocate....
