Ragini is the daughter of shekhar Gadodia and jhanvi Gadodia her mother died when she was 6years old.Ragini lived under her dadi's shades. Every decision of her life was made by dadi,she did what ever her dadi said.she is what her dadi want her to be. Music keeps her alive ,she loves playing sitar and spire to be a professional player.

But she also have that crazy and goofy side in her which she only knows..which is hidden inside the four walls of her room..where she is herself..where she dance like a maniac with head phones on,wearing the only pair of jeans and top that she hashidden under her cupboard...from checking out boys through social media...she do all the crazy stuffs she could in her room in her world.

Then someone came into her life as a ray of hope, who loves her truely, who wants her to be happy and to live her life by her wish ,who is her strength her sister swara.next was the entry of another person in her life,who became the love of her life ...her reason to live.. Her heart beat...she loved him to the moon and the back.. Laksh maheshwari. But something else was written in her destiny...laksh loves swara not her,she was broken once again... She hated that destiny who always denied her love...her pain,her lonileness everything exploded inside her and she became some one else ...sanskar her friend was with her, both of them did every possible thing to separate swalak,from making the video of
them,drugging swara she did everything to separate them but was of no use..and then the day come swalak wedding day...she wanted him ,like anything..she knew that she can't live without him,so she decided something big...she decided to kill her sister...but she failed there to miserably...she brought swara near to the river to kill her

But a heart broken swara who felt cheated and also felt responsible for her sister state said "ragini if you ask me I would even give you my life then why not my love...I am sorry ragu I did'nt see your pain ,I was so happy about my marriage that I did'nt realize what my sister is going through ...you don't need to kill me ragu I can't bear that its better I kill myself" swara was about to jump and ragini caught her at right time...she cried in her embrace seeking
forgiveness...and accepting all her deeds...ragini some how convinced swara for marriage and swalak marriage happened...it was time for vidaai and everyone was biding bye to swara but someone was missing ....ragini was missing....terror was building up in swara....she cursed herself for agreeing to marriage...Ragini is shown running away crying...feeling guilty and disgusted of herself...she took her steps determined.
