imagine: being harley's guard and being the only one she likes.

this is quite short i'm just forewarning you! (sorry i had to 😂)

"hey y/n it's my time to leave, you should come down now" the guard who was watching over harley said into his walkie-talkie.

harley perked up at the sound of your name, you were her favourite without a doubt. you had conversations with her unlike the others who yelled at her for talking to them. you also didn't judge her, sure she had done some pretty messed up stuff but deep down she didn't want to. she jumped from her bed, slowly walking to the bars and tightening her hands around them.

"is y/n coming?" she asked the man, who only ignored her in return.

she was used to it by now though, nobody ever spoke back to her, apart from you of course. it didn't stop her from trying though. she stayed near the bars, her head resting on them as she waited for you as she began feeling more and more excited. when she was with you, she forgot about where she was and where she was going to be for the next couple of decades. the joker never crossed her mind as it was filled with thoughts of you and her. she knew she had fallen for you, she just didn't know how to admit it.

you walked into the area where harley was being kept, your heels clicking against the marbled floor as you brushed your hair out of your face. you smiled, seeing harley waiting eagerly for you to arrive. you made eye contact with her and sent her a little wink making her smile at you before you turned your attention towards the other guard.

"hey frank, i'm here you can head home now" you told him, smiling at the man.

"thank you y/n, see you tomorrow"

you said bye, waving before standing in the spot he was just stood in but instead of facing away from harley you were facing towards her. she stood in front of you, smiling at you as you smiled back at her.

"hey harls! i missed you" you told her.

"i missed you too y/n! you're the only one who actually speaks" she laughed, making you laugh along.

"that's because they're idiots who think if they talk to you they'll catch some sort of disease! i can't imagine being that pathetic"

"it's okay y/n, you're the only person i need in this place and when i somehow get out, i'm taking you with me and we can start a life together"

"how abnormal... sounds great"

she smiled at you, her heart fluttering as she knew that you liked back.
