Adrien's POV:

        Adrien scanned the foyer area.  Strange he thought it appears no one is there.  He knows for sure since the lights were on when he arrived that someone else must be here. 

      "Who is there?" Adrien called out.

       He does not expect to get an answer. For all he knows it could be a burglar, or a ghost from years ago.  He laughed at the silly notion that a ghost would bother to haunt his old lame establishment.

       Adrien stepped slowly into the room under the staircase. He sees all the cobwebs and the old desk. The same one he used to write poems and stories at when he thought his father was not looking.  The swivel chair was there as well. Goodness, it had not changed a bit in the years he had been away aside from the spider webs.

        Marinette's  POV:

        Marinette pulled a small box out of the desk. She looked at it in wondered what it contained as she dusted it off. She took a look inside. Sure enough it was here all alone the missing peacock miraculous. It was many years ago that Natalie went missing and yet now the miraculous reappears.

        She shuddered as it dawned on her that Natalie must have been the holder.  She knew it to be true as she does that Adrien's father was Hawkmoth just as her first hunch had been about about the moth miraculous.  The only thing she never did guess was the one who held the cat ring. She was not sure she had the right to know  then, or now.

        She might have been ladybug once, but that was so far ago. It almost seemed like something out of book. She sighed as she slipped the box she found inside her jeans.  Now, she moved onto the next drawer.  

        This time she found a framed photo of Adrien with both his parents. She thought so it is true Adrien does take after his mother. She grinned at how green his mother's eyes are in it. Then, frowned as she recalled how his mother was assumed dead.  How tragic that he should grow up without her in his life.

         Adrien's  POV:

          Adrien never suspected that Marinette was nosying about the place. He believed she was not a snoop despite what others said about her in the past.  He discovered a note on top of the desk as he was about to leave the place.  It was from his father.

         Dear Adrien,

          If you are reading this  is it because at last  Ladybug and Chat Noir have defeated Hawkmoth. He has become unmasked and spent years behind bars.

         Right now, he is still behind bars as usual.  How should I know all this without being  there for you?  Well, glad you asked.  Here is the answer in a riddle,  what flaps is  purplish black and when it hits you turns you into a  villain on the loose?

         The moth miraculous is contained within a minature box, but you must know this by now, son.  I know your secret, Chat Noir.   So, find it if you dare and take it to Ladybug.

         Have fun firguing all this out! 

          Your father,

          Bwha!  Ha,ha!   

        Adrien finished reading the note and gasped.  He realized then it was true all along that Hawkmoth was his father.  This explained a lot why his father was in prison, why Natalie suddenly vanished, and why he spent so much time far away from his friends, especially,Marinette.

       He  pondered over the details as to why his father felt it necessary to leave him such a twisted riddle within the note.  Goodness, it was not like he could have discovered the truth without it.

         Adrien's  POV:

           Adrien stuffed the note inside his jeans. Then, he opened the drawer and found it.  He thought somethings up.  He believed it to be far to easy for the miraculous to have been tucked away here all this time.   Yet,when he peeked inside the box the moth brooch was there plain as day, or was it?

        He closed the box and placed it inside his jacket. Now, he raced out of the room, not bothering to shut the door behind him, and ran upstairs. Once there he heard a noice in one of the rooms.  Before he entered it he heard a voice call out, "Tikki someone's coming!  Quick, Tikki,spots on!"
  

        Adrien stood there stunned with his hand on the doorknob as it dawned on him Ladybug was here.  He smiled at the return of his partner.  Wait, should he join her one last time as Chat Noir?   He twisted the knob, but to his disappointment when he opened it she was gone.

         "Wow, well done m'lady, you are one step ahead of me as usual, I see," He said.

          Plagg's  POV:

        "Do not just stand there, Adrien!  Transform and go after her!"  Plagg protested.

         Plagg  thought as much as he hated mushy stuff, he hated the thought of Tikki's wrath if he did not do something to get Adrien to his senses.  He rolled his eyes in dismay as Adrien just grinned a ridiculous, cheesy grin. 
 

       "Adrien, transform now!"  Plagg demanded.

         *Author's note: Will Adrien do as Plagg said or will he leave without another thought about the situation?
