Luka saw her tears again.  He could not stand to see the girl he loves crying.  He went to her to see if he could find out what was the matter.  It must be something serious why else was she this way?

        "Marinette?" Luka asks gently.

        "What is it, Luka?" Marinette asks.

          "Is it Adrien?"  Luka asks.

             Marinette nods her head without a word.  It was at that moment Luka knew she was sad because the boy she loves either did not accept her feelings or he was just plain stupid.

             "Did he reject you?" Luka asks.

              "In words no, but he is with her," Marinette answers sadly. She points over to the bridge where Adrien sits with Kagami.

               "Oh, I see," Luka says as kindly as possible.

                "It is just I love him and he does not even see me," Marinette sobs louder.

                    Luka does not say another word. He sets his guitar on the ground and hugs her. He knows it is not enough.  Yet somehow he wishes it could be someday.

                   Marinette closes her eyes.  She feels so bad that all Luka ever does is comfort her. She knows she is not that great of a friend to him.  She also knows she can not help who she loves.

                    Kagami does not seem to notice Marinette is sad. She to happy to be able to sit beside Adrien. She has had a crush on him since the day they first met in fencing class. She knows he seems to like Marinette, but is not sure how much he likes her.  She just knows for the moment she is happy to spend time alone with him.

                  Adrien does not look up when Marinette sobs into Luka's chest.  He sits on the bridge beside Kagami with an ice-cream in his hand. He is not sure whom he likes more Kagami, Ladybug, or Marinette.  It is like he is to blind to see the truth for what it is anyway.

                Luka does not expect much from Marinette.  How could he when she has her heart set on someone else?  He just plans to be there for her.  He knows it is not enough, but what more can he do?
