Nino sat behind the desk in his office. He begins to wonder how Alya is doing lately since the time they broke up over some silly argument years ago. It is not like he has a way to keep in touch with her.  He thinks to bad since she was rather cute. He wishes he had not let her go.

        Meanwhile, Alya arrives at the place where she now works.  She is new at this whole cleaning lady thing, but she intends to do her best.  She has no idea that it is the same place her ex-boyfriend works. Otherwise, she might have chosen to work somewhere else. 

       She thinks back to the past when she and Nino split up. It was over something rather foolish. She was sure though that it is mostly her fault. She sighs as she thinks about how she should not have ever dumped him.

       Alya shakes her head as she grabs up her rags, and other cleaning supplies. It would not do well to be late on her first day.  She heads straight towards the elevator. She is to report the man in the office upstairs to see what tasks need to be done before she starts. She hopes he is in a good mood.  

      Nino hears the elevator door open and checks his watch.  He smiles when he realizes it must be the new cleaning lady his boss hired.  He recalls how his boss is out on vacation so she has to report to him.  He sure hopes she is good at her role and it would not hurt if she is good looking too.  He shakes his head at the silliness of the whole situation.

       Alya exits the elevator, walks to the first room on the left, opens the door and gasps. She can not believe it. She sees the man she was just thinking about behind the desk. Talk about awkward as she was no way prepared for this.  She approaches him unsure how to explain why she is here.

     "Ah, you must be the new cleaning lady, well I must say all your credentials look great.  The boss must have known what he was doing, so go ahead then,"  Nino says without looking up at her.

     "Yes, sir," She says.

    "It is Lahiffe, Nino Lahaiffe, but to you it is Mr. Lahiffe,"  Nino replies.

      "Yes, Mr. Lahiffe, I will start where?"  Alya responds.

      "Start with emptying the wastebaskets," Nino tells her.

            Alya does as he tells her since she is not sure what else to do now.
