Alya finishes with the wastebaskets. Then, she goes to clean the bathrooms. She finishes with them a few hours later. Now, she is all exhausted so she sits down for a short break. She drinks some water and drinks some water.

          Nino just works on his office job, so he does not notice that the new cleaning is done for the moment.  He does not pay attention when someone shows up to complain about her.  He just goes on about his business.  

        Alya overhears someone as they make rude remarks about her. She stands up and gets back to work. Now, she is vacuuming the floors in the building. She is not sure how much she can do this knowing that Nino her ex-boyfriend works here.

       Nino goes to check to see how things are with the new worker. He smiles when he sees her hard at work.  He shakes his head when he recalls all the unnecessary rude things someone else told him.  He believes they must have been mistaken.

     "Great job, there, Miss," Nino says.

     "Thanks, it is Alya Cesaire," She states as she turns the vacuum off for a second.

        "Alya, I am sorry," Nino begins to say.

        "Sorry for what exactly?" She asks her voice full of uncertainty.

          "Sorry, for breaking up with you.  I never should have done it," Nino states.

            "Oh, and here I was thinking you did not care," Alya remarks.

                 Nino lifts her chin with a hand and says, "I did, I mean I do care, Alya." Right then, Nino does not care if anyone else sees them. He leans in and kisses her like he should have done years ago.

              Alya returns the kiss even though she must admit it did take her by surprise. She pulls away as she states, " I better get back to worse before my boss finds out." 

            "Do not worry, I am sure he understands," Nino says with a wink in her direction.

               Alya gives him a puzzled look, so he explains, "My friend, Adrien gave me this job, so I am sure he will be okay with it."

             "What if he is not okay with us?" Alya asks sadly.

           "Babe, look no matter what I have no intention to let you go again," Nino answers. He walks back to his desk.

              Alya goes back to vacuuming and hums a bit as she does.  For the first time in years, she is happy for a change. It is all due to her meeting up with her ex and getting back together with him.

             Adrien who is back from his trip enters the office with a smile across his face.  "Nino, I see the new cleaning lady works out swell."  He tells his best friend.

            "Yes, she does a fantastic job.  It turns out she is my ex-girlfriend from the past, and we got back together, today," Nino blurts out.

           "Ha, congratulations then, Nino," Adrien states.

          "You mean you are not mad?" Nino asks.

           "No, she is good for you, I can tell, besides, my girl should be here soon," Adrien says with a smirk.

        "Your girl, sir?" Nino asks with a raised eyebrow.

         "Yes, I am sure you have heard of her, she is another old friend of yours, and she happens to be my fiance," Adrien says.

          Nino just shrugs his shoulders.  

       "Ah, yes, well, Marinette will be glad to hear you have forgotten all about her then," Adrien remarks.

            "Boss, did you just say, Marinette is coming here?" Alya asks.

            "Yes, she is his fiance," Nino points out.

           "Whoa, congratulations, Mr. Adrien Agreste," Alya squeals.

       "Goodness, Alya since we are all old friends here, just call me Adrien," Adrien states with a grin.

    "Sure thing, Adrien," Alya says.

     "Congrats man!" Nino says.

       "Same to you both," Adrien states. He gets to his work while Nino kisses Alya on the cheek.  
 
            Alya blushes as she finishes up her work, and  Nino looks up from his desk to stare at his girl every so often.
