*Mathews' Residence*

"What for," I ask looking at the three slightly pale faces.

Liv, with fear evident on her face says," My father got out of prison today."

"Oh, honey."

"I don't want him to appeal my emancipation."

"And if he does, I'll be your lawyer, ok?"

"Okay, thank you."

"Of course."

Max then walks in the door with Lucas. "Hey, are you ok? I've been worried about you all day."

"No, I'm not okay." Max then hugs her.

"Everything's gonna be ok, Liv."
