Sanskar held Swara's hand and made his way back to the basement cum party hall. When he searched around to find Ragini, he found her waiting for them. Sanskar smiled and signalled Swara to come, to which she gladly obliged.

"Swara, Ragini," Sanskar brought the two girls face to face with each other to introduce them to each other properly, "Ragini, Swara. And I have already told you both about each other," he said and Swara forwarded her hand towards Ragini for handshake.

"Hi! I'm Swara. Nice to meet you, Ragini."

"Same here, Swara," she smiled and shaked hands with her, "I'm so glad I got to met you."

"Ragini... I'm sorry for what I said earlier. I didn't know that... ugh... you know," Swara apologised genuinely.

"Just chill, I can understand your feelings. If I also saw someone getting close to Laksh, I would feel jealous, too," Ragini chuckled and blushed a little by her own words.

"Hmm, so someone is finally admitting the truth," Sanskar teased her and she glared at him.

"Swara, I know you love him very much but just ignore him. He really enjoys pulling my legs especially when it's about Laksh," she accused.

"So, you both can have a nice 'girl talk' with each other, meanwhile I'm going. I have something important to do," Sanskar said and almost turned to leave.

"Sanskar..." Swara called, "Do you need some help? I can come with you."

"No, Swara, it's okay. You have already done more than enough for today's function. Now, you just relax. I'll be back in some time," he smiled in assurance and went from there leaving both girls alone.

"Swara," Ragini turned towards her, "you know... Sanskar bhai is so lucky that he has got someone who loves him so much," she smiled lifting Swara's heart.

"No, Ragini" she confessed, "I'm the one who is lucky that I have him in my life."

Ragini smiled nodding her head, admiring this new pair in front of her already. On the other hand, Swara's mind got preoccupied by other things.

A tap on the microphone by one of the working men to test the working of the microphone made everybody quiet in the party hall as there were rising anticipations of something great and exciting among everyone as this evening was all about celebrating twenty glorious years of Kolkata Hospital. A small stage was set up at the edge of the wide basement and a podium at the right side, on which the microphone was being fixed. And the ones who were the highlight of this party were none other than the men who struggled day and night since twenty years to bring this hospital to the position where it was today. The moment the brothers Ramprasad and Durgaprasad stepped graciously upon the stage with smile on their faces, the crowd welcomed their Dean and CEO with several claps and hoots, what they rightfully deserved. Swara, Anushka, Ragini, Laksh and Rajat were standing together clapping for them.

"Thank you everyone," Ramprasad made sure to thank the audience that included his family and his management team and his staff of doctors that were like his second family. When he took a look around the hall, he could see everyone except the ones who were the reason behind him standing here today. He paused for sometime, and as if an invisible force calling him out, his eyes went up towards the staircase only to find the one he had been waiting for all this while.

Sanskar had the brightest smile on his face as he brought his mother, Sujata, down carefully. His one arm was over her back and his other hand held her palm to support her. For the first time in a while, the Maheshwaris found their beloved look a bit healthier, dressed up in a beautiful maroon saree, and adorned just like she used to be before. Ramprasad's eyes glinted at the sight of his wife who had not lost her charm even after all these years of being unwell.

As Sujata felt each and everyone's eyes upon her, she felt a bit anxious, "Why is everyone looking at me like this?"

"Don't worry about it, you will know soon," Sanskar smiled and assured his mother, and she too smiled slightly. There was surely something different about today, she felt it and that rendered peace in her heart. Once they came down, Sanskar made Sujata sit down comfortably on a chair and smiled at his father so that he could begin. Ramprasad smiled nodding his head and then looked at his audience before beginning.

"A good evening to one and all present here. I, Dr Ramprasad Maheshwari, gladly welcome you to the occasion of Kolkata College and Hospital's twentieth anniversary."

Once again, it was followed by a huge round of applause along with several hoots. Ramprasad smiled feeling grateful for all the love and appreciation.

"Today, on this day when this hospital was inaugurated thereby initiating a new beginning, I would like to thank all the people involved in it, all my staff, all the doctors and last but not the least... my family who stood by me through thick and thin to bring this hospital to a position I never thought it would come, but it has been possible only because of the support and backbone I received from my family and the best team of doctors I have here with me, either I could have ever asked God for. I extend my heartfelt gratitude towards the management staff without whom this hospital is incomplete, without whom this hospital wouldn't work with as much efficiency as it does with their presence and constant hardwork to maintain the welfare of this hospital and everything else related to it. I want to thank the CEO of this hospital, my dearest elder brother, Dr Durgaprasad Maheshwari..."

Everyone clapped looking at Durgaprasad and he smiled acknowledging them.

"My co-partner and my best friend, Dr Surinder Sareen..." Ramprasad continued and the claps continued.

"My son, who is also my pride and one of my biggest support systems," Ramprasad smiled, "Dr Sanskar Maheshwari. And then Dr Surinder's son, Dr Rajat Sareen..."

Sanskar and Rajat smiled feeling grateful for all the appreciation.

"And Dr Swara Bose and Dr Anushka Shastri, the new doctors who joined this hospital as interns first, and time saw them emerge as efficient doctors who are always ready to help. They have managed to win the hearts of each and every staff and patient by their hardwork and dedication towards their profession and this hospital. I'm grateful for all that they have done for the success of today's function. Thank you to both of you."

Everyone clapped and Swara smiled feeling surprised by the unanticipated mention. Sanskar smiled looking at her and clapped for her like others.

"And then comes that person who has been with me through everything... right from dreaming of building this hospital along with me to bringing this hospital where it is today... the woman who I consider as the heart of this hospital, taking into consideration the love and passion she had for helping people. This hospital is nothing without her. I want to thank my life-partner, my beloved wife, Mrs Sujata Maheshwari!" Ramprasad said extending his hand towards Sujata and the claps echoed louder. Sujata, not understanding much of what was taking place in front of her, just shaked her head smiling slightly.

"And last but not the least..." Ram smiled and continued, "I would love to thank all the people who make up this hospital. Thank you so much all of you for working so hard day and night to serve the citizens of Kolkata and to help them get rid of their health problems. Thank you!"

There were loud sounds of claps by everyone present there. Ram gave everyone a smile and soon enough, he came down from the stage and went towards Sanskar and Swara.

"Swara, I think it's time we execute your plan," he said.

"Yes, sir. Anushka is bringing the projector. Very soon, we will be able to execute our plan," Swara assured.

"Even if it doesn't work..." he said with a pause, "I'll always be grateful for the efforts you are taking to help my wife, beta," he admitted.

"Sir... I want to help ma'am," she said honestly, "I want her to remember everything. Both as a person, and as a doctor too."

Ramprasad smiled admiring her will to always help others no matter what, and Sanskar smiled too, feeling proud and at the same time, fortunate to have fallen in love with her. This was his Swara! There was no other like her in this whole world and would never be.

A while later, a projector was arranged over the stage and one of the working men was hired to display everything on the projector. A person was asked to turn all the lights of the main hall off so that everything on the projector was visible to everyone. Everyone waited with anticipation to see what was in store for them. The big, white screen brightened up with a memorable photograph -- two decades younger Ramprasad, Sujata, Annapurna, Durgaprasad were standing in front of the hospital building on the day of it's inauguration. And with them stood their little bundles of joy -- Sanskar, Laksh, and Adarsh. And with it, began a series of moments they spent in the hospital -- be it the hospital's first anniversary, then some events, some screening camps set up for the people for overall check-up of their general health -- each and every moment and event they ever shared in all these twenty years were displayed in the projector for everyone... especially the Maheshwaris to relive the old golden days. Swara, Sanskar and everyone present there smiled feeling glad to go through this whole journey of the Kolkata Hospital. Ramprasad was also happy but what made him happier was the expression of surprise that Sujata was having on her face while going through all the captured moments. It's true that she did not remember being a part of any of it, but seeing all this rendered a sense of peace and satisfaction in her heart. She slowly felt as if... she had always been there. A slight smile came on her face, which did not go unnoticed by Sanskar and Swara.

Ten minutes went by like this, with unraveling each and every door of all the memories and the series of the whole media came to an end with one last picture of the seminar that Sanskar, Swara, Anushka and Rajat gave together in Jamshedpur weeks before.

The screen went off and the whole hall echoed with several claps from each and every individual present. The lights were finally turned on.

"What an amazing journey, sir!" The host for the day came up on the stage and exclaimed, "Once again, a huge round of applause for the management staff and the entire medical and non-medical staff of our hospital!" and for one last time, the hall echoed with innumerable claps and hoots.

"With this, I hereby announce that now this floor is officially open for everyone," the host announced with enthusiasm, "It's time for everyone to grace the dance floor!"

"Guys, come on! Let's dance," Rajat said while calling his friends to the dance floor and pulled in each one of them -- the first ones being best buddies Sanskar and Laksh, then Anushka, Swara, Ragini. It took a while for the DJ to select a song and when he did, the music filled each and every person with the urge to have fun and enjoy this time to the fullest. The ones to embrace the dance floor first were none other than the boys -- Sanskar, Rajat, Laksh and other men around their age, while the seniors and the middle-aged ones sidelined themselves a bit to let the younger population enjoy their time.

(Boys)
Dekho Dekho Hai Shaam Badi Deewani
Dheere Dheere Ban Jaye Na Koi Kahani

Dekho Dekho Hai Shaam Badi Deewani
Dheere Dheere Ban Jaye Na Koi Kahani

Sanskar held Swara's hand and he pulled her along with him as his partner, which she happily accepted. Even Rajat and Laksh pulled their respective lady-loves Anushka and Ragini along. So, as the six danced in pairs, a few others also joined them and they all did the signature step of the song together.

Dilbar Hai Dilkash Hai
Dildaar Nazare Hain
Aaj Zameen Per Utre
Kitne Sitare Hai

Atlo Hosh Na Mi Danam
Hum Hai Dil Hai Aur Janam
Bas Deewangi Deewangi Deewangi Hai
Na Koi Rahe Sam Rahe Par
Yeh Ilzaam Lage Kis Par
Bas Deewangi Deewangi Deewangi Hai

All Hot Girls
Put Ur Hands Up And Say...
Om Shanti Om

(Girls)
All Cool Boys
Come-on Make Some Noise And Say...
Om Shanti Om

Everyone danced together showing off their skills and Sanskar and Swara smiled joyfully looking at each other as they synced together according to the music. When Sanskar realized he had a chance, he pulled Swara's hand pulling her close to himself much to her surprise. The song still continued and so did everyone else...

Shaam Gazab Ki Humgamna Khez Hai
Iska Nasha Hi Gehra Hai Tez Hai
Shaam Gazab Ki Humgamna Khez Hai
Iska Nasha Hi Gehra Hai Tez Hai

Zulf Khuli Hai Resham Resham
Saans Ghuli Hai Madham Madham
Yeh To Ishaare Hain

Atlo Hosh Na Mi Danam

Everyone enjoyed and Ramprasad, Durgaprasad, Annapurna smiled seeing their kids' happiness. And adding to their happiness, even Sujata was smiling seeing everyone in such enthusiasm even though she did not understand everything much. But somewhere, deep down, she felt glad to have been a part of this celebration. Sanskar, Swara, Anushka, Rajat, Laksh, Ragini continued to move along with the music together with their respective partners...

Kehne Ko Waise To Sara Sukun Hai
Phir Bhi Yeh Dil Hai Ki Isko Junoon Hai
Kehne Ko Waise To Sara Sukun Hai
Phir Bhi Yeh Dil Hai Ki Isko Junoon Hai

Pal Do Pal Ko Khwaab Saza De
Isko Usko Sab Ko Bata De
Raaz Jo Sare Hain

Atlo Hosh Na Mi Danam

Bas Deewangi Deewangi Deewangi Hai
Na Koi Rahe Sam Rahe Per

As the song ended, everyone smiled and clapped for themselves. Swara turned to look towards Sanskar and found out that he had been looking at her and they both smiled, and looked at each other lovingly.

After some time...

Swara was sitting on a chair drinking some water to calm down the thirst she felt after dancing so much.

"Hey, Swara!"

A voice came and Swara looked up to find the source of voice, only to see that it was Ragini.

"Hi, Ragini!" She greeted back with same enthusiasm.

"What happened? Why are you sitting here alone? Where are others?" she asked frowning.

"Oh, actually Sanskar is talking with some of his guests there and Anushka is with Rajat," Swara said and her eyes landed on an empty chair next to her, "why don't you sit? Come," she asked Ragini to sit.

"Oh, thanks!" Ragini thanked and settled herself down and faced Swara.

"I'm just taking rest here as I was a bit tired after dancing," said Swara.

"Oh, about the dance... I just loved your and Sanskar bhai's dance today. You danced so well!" Ragini complimented with excitement and Swara smiled at her contagious energy.

"Thank you so much, Ragini. You and Laksh were also amazing!" she complimented back in return and Ragini smiled thanking her. Their eyes wandered around to see the hustle and bustle going on around the party and felt they should take a break from everything and rest here.

"It's really nice to know you," Ragini said smiling, bringing Swara's attention towards her. She continued, "When Sanskar bhai told me about you, I've been really excited to meet you since then. He said a lot about you."

"Aisa nahi hai Ragini. Sanskar toh bas aise hi taarif karta rehta hai. The truth is I'm lucky and blessed to have him as an incredible part of my life," Swara smiled with humility.

"Okay... So, Swara... since you are a doctor now, what are your plans ahead?"

"I have plans to give my post-graduate entrance exam which is there in next month and then enroll myself in a college that offers master's degree. Right now, I'm working here as a doctor so that I have enough money to pay for my education ahead," she revealed.

"That's great! Sanskar bhai told me that you completed the last month of your internship three months before and now you are doing job in this hospital," Ragini recalled and Swara nodded her head.

"Yes. That's right."

"I'm also in the final year of my engineering. And you know what's surprising? Laksh and I are in the same batch even when we have two years age difference between us," she said making Swara frown.

"That's because he joined engineering college after giving his entrance exam twice," Ragini smiled as she sensed her confusion.

"Oh! That's good. How old are you again?"

"I'm twenty-two."

"I'm also twenty-two! That makes both of us same, then," Swara chuckled in surprise and shrugged her shoulders.

"That's a very good coincidence," Ragini smiled in excitement too, "By the way, how many people do you have in your family?"

"My family includes me, my mother and my grandmother,"

Ragini frowned in confusion, "Your father?"

"Umm... I lost my father when I was very young," she said making Ragini feel apologetic.

"I'm so sorry, Swara. I had no idea about it."

"No, no," she nodded her head negatively, "please don't be. It's been a long time."

"You know, I also lost my mother when I was a baby. Since my childhood, I only had my father and my grandparents as my family."

"I'm so sorry to know that, Ragini," Swara apologised.

"Swara..." Ragini paused for a moment wondering, "don't you think we have a lot in common with each other? I mean... our family structure, our age, and the fact that both of us are in love with boys from the same family."

Swara chuckled nodding her head, "Yes, we do. It's really nice to know you. I feel like I have got a new friend for myself."

"Oh, shit!" Ragini slapped her forehead, "I totally forgot. So Swara, can we be friends?" She forwarded her hand for friendship which Swara happily shaked back.

"Yes. Friends!"

They smiled looking at each other before leaving hands and then Ragini said, "So, my new friend, tell me something more about yourself! I mean... your likes, your dislikes..."

Swara nodded and with that began a never-ending chat between the two friends.

~*~*~*~*~*~*

Sanskar was talking with some of his colleagues, when suddenly Ramprasad came to him and tapped on his shoulder, "Sanskar, come with me for a minute."

"Ji," he nodded his head and excused himself. Ramprasad led him towards a corner where he saw a man about his father's age standing, probably waiting for them to come.

"Sanskar, I want you to meet him," Ramprasad smiled introducing the man to him, "He is Dr Rohit Kapoor, a very skilled neurosurgeon and one of my old friends. He is the one who has seen your mother's case from day one, even did operation to save your mother from death. This was when you were ten."

"Hello, sir," Sanskar greeted smiling, "I really don't know how to thank you for all that you have done for my mom. If she is alive today, if she is here with us then it's because of you."

"Don't mention, beta. It was my duty and about my best friend too. And the reason she is with you today is all because of your strong belief in her recovery when nobody had hope in her," Rohit smiled.

"Sanskar, your Rohit uncle assessed your mother's condition in the afternoon today. And he said that she seems to be doing better than before, in terms of both physical and mental health. If we want, and if she wishes to, then we can take her home," said Ram that lifted Sanskar's heart.

"Really? That's the best news ever! When can we take her home?" he asked looking at Rohit.

"In one or two days, maybe. But you need to see how mentally prepared she would be, too. If she feels she is ready to come with you, I don't think there will be any problem. The only thing I would tell is continue with her medicines and take as much care of her as possible as she is not completely fine yet. You can try and do things that can help her remember her old life, like you did now. But don't force her or pressurize her into remembering anything. That will not help with her situation," he said.

"Don't worry, Rohit. Sanskar and I will take care of her," Ram assured him with a smile and Sanskar also smiled nodding his head in agreement.

Their conversation got disturbed when Rohit's phone vibrated due to an incoming call.

"I'm so sorry I have a call to attend," he said and excused himself, and Ram nodded his head.

"Sanskar," Ram turned towards Sanskar after thinking about something for a while, "can you come to my cabin for sometime? Actually, we wanted to talk with you for sometime," he admitted.

"Sure. I'll come," said Sanskar.

"And bring Swara also with you," Ram said, making Sanskar ponder for a second.

"Okay, is everything fine?" He asked once just to be sure of it.

"Yes, yes," Ram assured, "don't worry. Everything is fine. It's just that we wanted to discuss about something with you both. Please just bring her along with you, meanwhile I'll go and tell your Bade Papa and Badi Maa about you both coming."

"Okay. I'll go and call Swara," Sanskar answered, still not realizing what was it that his father wanted to talk to him about. Nevertheless, he went to call Swara.

~*~*~*~*~*~*

"Sanskar?" As Sanskar held Swara's hand and brought her with him and they stood outside his father's cabin, Swara called him feeling uncertain about this whole thing, "why has Ramprasad sir called us like this? Did we do some mistake regarding something? Or... regarding your mother?" she asked feeling a bit nervous and Sanskar sighed.

"God, Swara. You and your overthinking. We are not even inside yet and here you have already started assuming something negative. Relax, I don't think we did any mistake or anyone is angry on us. Papa just said he wanted to talk with both of us about something important."

Swara nodded her head out of anxiety and Sanskar pressed her hand gently, as if assuring her that everything was fine and that it would be better if they go in and find out what was the matter themselves.

Sanskar opened the door of the cabin and when he swung the door open, he saw his father, his Bade papa and Badi maa standing as they anticipated his and Swara's arrival.

"Sanskar, Swara!" Ramprasad was the first one to break the silence, "come in."

Sanskar signalled Swara to enter inside and he too came inside. Then he made sure to close the door.

For a minute, no one said anything, and Annapurna was least interested to be a part of this discussion. But for the sake of her husband, and also because today was a special day, she chose not to react strongly to anything or create a scene. As for Sanskar and Swara, they waited till one of the elder spoke up, and Durgaprasad gave everyone full time to gather themselves together.

"Sanskar, Swara," Durgaprasad stepped ahead and looked at both of them one by one, grabbing their fullest attention, "we called both of you here for a reason. We wanted to talk with both of you about something. Actually, we all want to know that... how serious are both of you about each other?"

The question about their relationship coming out of nowhere from the eldest member of the family took both Swara and Sanskar aback for a moment. Their eyes involuntarily went towards each other.

"I already know what you will say, Sanskar," Ramprasad understood how the two felt, "But I still want you to say it in front of everyone here."

"Don't take us wrong, beta," Durgaprasad assured, "we just want to know because we need enough assurance so that we can take a decision about you two. But before arriving at any conclusion, we want to be sure enough that what you feel for each other is not just any infatuation, but something much more than it, so that we don't regret later in life. You understand what I am trying to say, right?"

And without a moment's hesitation, Sanskar nodded his head. He just knew what he should say.

"Bade papa, Papa, Badi Maa," he said, "you know that I never exaggerate or lie. I just say what is in my heart. It's true that I love Swara, and in future if there is anyone I want to be with, then it's only Swara. I told her about this before and I'm telling you all also... what we feel for each other is not any infatuation that it will fade away after some years and we will get someone else in our lives. When she came in my life, and as I started seeing her more, getting to know her and her thinking, spending more time with her, I realised I had reached that point of my life where I have found someone with whom I would want to spend my life with, someone who matters to me a lot. Someone with whom I would want to share my joys and sorrows. And I can never give Swara's place in my heart to anyone else. I just can't. I see her holding the most important position in my life. I see her as the other half that completes me," he said the last statement while looking at Swara, and she felt her heart leap. Suddenly, her heart felt too small to contain the sheet amount of happiness she felt after hearing Sanskar's words. But she alao knew she was standing in front of a family of a high stature, elders with a high reputation, she respected that and calmly stood her ground, trying not to get overruled by her feelings.

"Okay," Durgaprasad nodded his head as he contemplated upon his nephew's words for sometime, and then he turned towards Swara, "And Swara? Knowing your feelings about him is as much important for us as knowing Sanskar's feelings."

"Sir..." Swara paused for a while to choose the right words, the words that would be the most appropriate to say, then continued, "To be honest, before Sanskar entered my life I was just alive. But he taught me what living is. If I know what love is, it's because of him. He made me believe in goodness again, and that how powerful this four-letter word 'love' is. His place in my life is irreplaceable, just the way my place in his life is. I would do anything for his happiness and to protect our relationship. And like he said, even after five years or fifty years from now, I will still be in love with him just like I am today," she said in a very soft voice, so as to not offend anyone in any way.

"But why only Sanskar?" After a long time of silence, Annapurna was the one who spoke up, "Why not someone else?"

"Ma'am..." Swara addressed her question and replied calmly, giving her the same respect as she gave to Ramprasad and Durgaprasad, "To be honest, I always knew I am not the perfect choice for him as our worlds are different from each other. In the beginning also I tried to avoid him and maintain my distance from him, both before and after I realised my love for him. But the truth is... I couldn't do that to him for longer. He made me feel the way no one else ever can. I really never cared about his wealth or his popularity. I would never care if the house we will be staying in future is a bungalow or a one bedroom house. For me, what matters is just him. And nothing else. And what happened with me in my past has nothing to do with my present and my future. If I see anyone as my future, I see only him."

Sanskar smiled feeling so glad to have known what she said in front of his family regarding their relationship. Swara, too, gave him a slight smile and turned back towards all the elders.

"But for me, the approval from our elders' matters just as much as he does," she admitted and exchanged looks with Sanskar, "and we already decided that we will respect the decision taken by our elders' about us."

Ramprasad and Durgaprasad looked at each other and on the other hand, Swara and Sanskar looked at each other, knowing they had said today what had to say to them one day. Both had opened up about their love in front of their elders and they did not know what to expect... until they saw Ramprasad smile at both of them.

"Sanskar," he said looking at his son, "I'm very happy with your decision. I have always liked this child and I'm glad you made the right choice of yourself. I approve," he said and though both Sanskar and Swara's happiness turned into manifold, they just smiled at each other controlling their emotions.

"Yes, Ram, I agree with you," Durgaprasad smiled too.

"Badi Maa? Do you approve?" Sanskar asked looking at her.

Annapurna sighed and nodded her head as if she did not care what they did, "Do whatever you all want," she said before opening the door and leaving the cabin, leaving everyone flustered except Durgaprasad who kind of expected it from her.

"Sanskar, don't mind her. You know how she is," he said.

"Bade papa, please look after her," Sanskar said with care, "I know she has been angry on me because of what happened, but..."

"Sanskar," Swara said, "we both should apologise to her. Unhe bura laga hoga."

"No Swara," Durgaprasad stated, "Saying sorry to her will only boost her ego. And at that time Sanskar wasn't wrong in any way. He only defended you when she was saying bad things about you."

"Yes, Sir. But..."

"No ifs and buts. I know you are too good that you can even forgive your enemies no matter how much harm they do to you. For now, both of you tell us that if you love each other, are you both planning to get together soon?" Durgaprasad asked and again, Swara and Sanskar's gazes turned towards each other on their own accord.

"Bhai sa, now that they have told us about their feelings," Ramprasad continued, "how about getting them married?"

"Papa, we..." Sanskar said immediately and exchanged a look with Swara once before admitting, "we have no thoughts of getting married to each other so soon."

His father and uncle stood confused and Sanskar decided to explain.

"Actually, Swara still has to give her post graduate entrance exam next month and then complete her specialisation which will take two to three years. That is why, I don't want that she gets tied in a knot and get distracted from her goal. That is why, as of now no marriage," he said.

"Ohh," Ramprasad nodded his head understanding, "Swara, you have plans for Masters?"

"Yes, sir. I do," Swara smiled nodding her head, "I have also started preparing for the entrance exam."

"Okay. All the best, then," he wished, "And I assure you that a bright future awaits you, both professionally and personally."

"Thank you so much, sir. It really means a lot to me," Swara said, meaning each and every word.

"No... In fact, thank you for all that you have done for my wife, beta. When photographs were being displayed on the projector, I saw her... and trust me that was the first time I saw her smile after all these fifteen years. Seeing that made me realize... that her brain might have forgotten all the important memories, but her heart has not."

"Sir... I really feel she will remember everything very soon," she assured and Ramprasad smiled nodding his head.

"You know... I used to doubt if Sanskar is taking a decision of his life out of hurry, but now, I'm pretty sure that he is not just momentarily attracted towards you. I should have known this right at that time when he stood up for you against his Badi Maa. He has seen the piousness in you and fell in love with who you truly are, beta. And I'm really proud of the choice he made for himself. I would be more than happy if you are in his life."

Saying this, he kept his both palms over Sanskar's and Swara's head with love, making both of them smile.

"God bless both of you!" Ramprasad blessed them. And for the first time, Swara Bose understood what it felt like to be blessed by a father.

I'll try to post a new chapter at least once in two or three weeks, or it may take one month even, but I won't make you all wait more than a month. I promise.

Part II of chapter 34 will be posted as soon as possible.
