"Ahaha, S-S-Sun!" Lillie giggles uncontrollably as I playfully nibble the crook of her neck whilst pushing her further against the bed. We've been messing around for almost half an hour now, since we have the house to ourselves. Pulling my lips away from her neck, I notice that our playfulness has caused her shirt to slip up revealing her midriff, and I'm not prepared to miss an opportunity. Lillie wriggles with even greater mirth as I slip my hand under her shirt, and her adorable laughter is easily contagious. Leaning further against her body, I place a firm kiss against her exposed belly, laughing quietly with her.
"S-Sun, stop, that tickles!" She complains, trying to present her best pout despite her laughter. After a moment longer, I do as she wishes so that my kissing doesn't turn into irritation for her. We pull away, gasping for air after the laugher, and I collapse carefully on top of her, our eyes locked just inches away. I can't help but blush roughly - sometimes at times like this, we begin to lose control of ourselves. It takes a conscious effort to restrain myself, though it feels like one of us could do something stupid in a moment's notice.
"S-sorry..." I stutter, concerned that I may have pushed it too far. She responds with a positive smile, wrapping her arms and legs around me and pulling me into a warm and surprisingly tight embrace. I allow myself a sigh of relief knowing that she doesn't mind, and I squeeze her gently in return.
"Don't be sorry, why would I be mad at you for that?" She chuckles, tilting her head as she leans over me and gazing teasingly into my anticipating eyes. "My turn!"
With that, she tackles me down onto the mattress, giggling childishly with me as she plants a long kiss on my lips.

- The next morning...

I groan, stretching out my stiff arms even before opening my eyes properly. I wake to see Lillie sat up in bed, reading her book - the same book she's been reading every night for the last couple of weeks.
"Good morning," She whispers, leaning over me and kissing my cheek whilst placing her hand against my bare chest gently. I smile, nuzzling against her slightly before sinking back down into the pillows. Closing her book, Lillie pushes the covers away from her, climbing out of bed in her pajamas and fumbling through the wardrobe to choose her clothes for the day. "So, what should we do today?" She asks excitedly, looking over to me, face still pressed down against the pillows. I only manage a grumble in response as my brain still slowly wakes up. Suddenly, I sit up sharply in bed, clumsily grabbing hold of the glass of water next to my bed and drinking it to the last drop. Gulping for breath, I reflect on yesterday's events - the racing, the grunts... and of course, taking one to the police station. Rolling out of bed, I step over to the window, gazing at the cold outside world.
"Oh, I should visit the police station again, perhaps that interrogation of the grunt got the police some valuable information on the nature of this new gang that we've been seeing so often," I point out. The bright sunlight radiates through the glass, kissing every inch of my bare skin from my waist to my neck. Lillie, who has picked out her clothing, shuffles over and wraps her loving arms around me from behind.
"You're thinking of them way too much at the moment, Sun." she states, the concern in her tone clear. Appreciating her embrace, I lean back into her gently.
"Maybe. But being the champion of an entire region... well, it's my responsibility to look after it, right?"
She nods, contradicting a small sigh that she lets out with a smile. Lillie understands how I think and feel very well - we've gone through a lot together after all, helping eachother grow and thrive since the moment we met on Mahalo Trail, that fateful day. I slip on my typical outfit - black polo shirt, blue trousers, iconic black cap as well as my faithful backpack.
"I'll be ready in just a moment!" Lillie calls, tying her hair into the classic ponytail as I head towards the living room.

"Morning Mom, Feathers, Roxy... Where's Dad?" I ask wearily, slumping into the living room. Mom smiles, wishing me good morning.
"Morning, Sun! He's just gone out for a bit, enjoying some time with his Pokémon in the rare weather," she replies. "Oh, you look like you were kept up! Were you and Lillie up until late last night, huh?" She teases. My expression is suddenly struck with energy, the sleepy look in my eyes quickly transforming into the denying glare that comes along with a blush.
"N-no, it's not like that!" I stutter, adjusting my cap and filling my Pokémon's bowls with food. "Just... busy recently," I sigh with a brief laugh. I turn, setting down the two bowls which are quickly tended to by my Feathers and Roxy, happy to see me as usual.
"Oh, I'm just teasing," Mom chuckles, turning back to the view out of the frosted windows, sipping a cup of warm Komala Coffee. I slip my shoes on, tying them up hurriedly and slipping my jacket on to keep me warm from the cold weather outside.
"Oh, you're off so soon?" Mom asks, setting down her cup of coffee.
"Or just trying to get away from me, huh?" Lillie jokes, entering the room and meeting my eyes with a smile. She looks great, wearing her classic Z-form clothes and sporting her iconic ponytail. I smile, adjusting my jacket and stepping over to her.
"I wouldn't dream of it," I smile. "I'm just taking Charizard over to the police station to check on the whole situation. I'll be back soon, I promise!" I explain. I'm doing my best not to make her feel like I'm trying to get away, but she just smiles, closing her eyes and pulling me into a kiss. After a moment, we finally pull away.
"I know, Sun. I'm only joking, don't worry," she laughs. I smile, placing a hand on her cheek. "I love you. I'll be back in a bit," I whisper. Placing her hand on mine, she leans in, pecking my lips quickly. "I love you too. See you soon!"
With that, I open the front door, immediately being hit by the lightly-chilling breeze. "Oh, and, keep an eye on him - don't go helping yourself to more food, right?" I joke sternly, pointing at Feathers. He chirps back, shaking his head.
"Right," Mom laughs. "Take care of yourself!"
Closing the door firmly, I hop down the stairs and call Charizard to my side. I believe the cold weather is beginning to pass, now. The snow is much thinner, and next to none continues to fall from the sky. It's saddening, in a way. Who knows when Alola will see such phenomenal weather again?

A short, low-altitude flight takes me to the police station on Ula'ula island in a matter of minutes, and I jump off Charizard onto the snowy ground to a cordoned-off police station..? It's surrounded by police cars and officers as well as groups of people interested in the drama, whatever it is. Fearing the worst, I slowly scratch my chin, sighing.
"What's going on here, sir?" I ask, approaching an officer. I don't really know why I bothered asking, considering that there's only one thing that could have happened.
"Oh, Champion. It's not good. There was an attack on the police station last night, a group of those goons again. They hit us when it was late, we didn't have the men on hand nor the Pokémon to defend against them effectively. They took the prisoner from our custody - they had a way of tracking him, somehow,"
The officer is clearly exhausted. I doubt that the staff here got much sleep after what happened.
"Any idea how they might have found him?" I ask.
"Well... we did find a few things when we searched the grunt. Follow me in, we'll show you."
Following his lead, we push past the crowd and into the vandalised building, pushing past a logo that I know all too well: spray-painted onto the wall of the police station is the vibrant-orange insignia of Team Skull.
