The next time Nandini woke up with the voices
of her baby and husband. She saw Manik
walking in the garden with Manvi and who was
talking with him..! She look at herself and
around the room. Manik had cleaned the room
perfectly and she too was wearing a proper
night dress. He was the best..!! She kept lying
there and listened to Papa-daughter talk..
"Papa..! Hum beach pay kab jayen gay?"Manvi
asked Manik once again..
"Today..!"Manik replied softly and touched her
nose..
"Today? When?"Another question came..
"When your Mama will be up..!"Manik again
replied in the same soft tone. He was never
tired of her questions..! He was the only one
who was patient with her..! Or else everyone in
the house was tired of Manvi's non-stop
questions..
"Mama ko uthyen?"She asked again and Manik
shook his head..
"No..! Let her sleep..! Mama is tired..!"Manik
said politely. She rested her head
on Manik's shoulder and started sucking her
thumb. Manik kept pacing in the garden
waiting for Nandini to wake up..! Nandini
smiled as she adored the best bond ever..! She
slowly got up and went to the bathroom..! She
took a shower and came out. Manik and Manvi
were still in the garden but this time they were
playing football..
"Papa cheating q kal(kar) lay(ray) hain..!"Manvi
shouted in a shock and Nandini smilingly
approached..
"Aray I never cheat..!"Manik said shaking his
head and Nandini laughed.. Both turned and
run towards her..
"Mama..!"Manvi exclaimed and climbed in
Nandini's arms..
"Good morning meri jaan..!"Nandini greeted
and kissed her hair..
"Good molning(morning)..!"Manvi too greeted
her..
"Morning love? Slept well?"Manik asked politely
and took her in a side hug..
"Morning Mani..! Yeah I slept well..!"Nandini
replied resting her head on his chest..
"Papa..! Dekhain na..! Mama uth gayen..! Ab
hum beach chalain please?"Manvi pleaded and
MaNan smiled..
"Of course we will got..! Chalo let's get you
ready..!"Nandini said smilingly and was about
to walk inside when Manik held her hand..
"I won't let you skip the meal..!"He said
shrugging his shoulder and she smiled..! Once
again he was fitting best in the frame of an
ideal husband..

Manik halted the car in the area which he has
been asked to reserve specially for Malhotra
family. There was no one..! But the sun bath
chairs..! Umbrella..! Tables everything was
present..!
Manvi was so excited that as soon as Manik
stopped the car she opened the door and run
out ignoring all 'be careful' shouts
of MaNan behind her..! MaNan smiled on her
excitement. Manik picked up the basket
of food and necessary things. Then he walked
behind Manvi along with Nandini..! Manvi was
almost going crazy with excitement.. She was
running here and there shouting for her
parents to join her..! Manik laid a blanket on
the warm sand and made Nandini sit on it..
"Manvi..! Come here..! Mama ki baat
suno..!"Nandini called Manvi as she pulled out a
sunscreen lotion from her bag but Manvi totally
ignored her shout she was hell busy in drawing
something on the sand with tongue protruding
out from the corner of the lips. Nandini
frowned at the same time she was going all awe
on her cuteness..! Manik laughed loudly and
Nandini gave him a glare but who cares he kept
laughing..!
"Mani..! Zara Manvi ko pakar kar tou laoa..! She
has no sunscreen on her skin..!"Nandini said
helplessly.
"Haha..! Ohk main lata hoon..!"Manik said still
laughing and walked close to Manvi..! He tried
to convince Manvi but she was adamant on
completing the picture leaving no option for
Manik but to carry her forcefully..
"Papa meli(meri) dlawing(drawing)..!"She yelled
shaking her legs with full force..
"Aray bana laina drawing pehly Mama ki baat
sun lo..!"Manik said in a casual tone and she
made a grumpy face..! Manik made her sit on
the blanket and Nandini started applying the
sunscreen on Manvi's face. But her mood was
off.. totally off..! Manik winked at Nandini and
rushed to picked up his guitar..
"Mama say gusa?"Nandini asked and Manvi
nodded angrily..! Manik held his smile and
strum his guitar strings..! Manvi look at Manik
with corner of her eye and Nandini gestured
Manik to sing..

turned her face..

Nandini followed Manik. Manvi
suddenly turned and show them her angry
pout..

Manik sang blocking Manvi's way and knelt in
front of her...! She stared at Manik angrily..

Nandini too knelt beside Manik and sang
touching Manvi's hair she finally smiled and
MaNan sighed in relief..

Then MaNan got up and circled around Manvi
singing together..!
She finally clapped statsfied with her parent's
performance and after a lot of hugs and kisses
she started her drawing again..! Nandini sat
back again and Manik too sat on the
sand near Manvi sipping a juice and stuffing
Manvi's mouth with snacks time to time..!
Smurfy too was playing around and suddenly
boom he stepped on Manvi's drawing..
"Smurrfffyyy...!"Manvi yelled and glared at
smurfy angrily..! Smurfy stopped for an instant
and then he started running on the whole
beach while Manvi was running behind him..!
Manik and Nandini were laughing loudly..!
Suddenly smurfy came towards Nandini and
hide in her lap..! Manvi was going all made
with anger and fury..
"Smurfy come out..! Mama give him to
me..!"Manvi shouted and Nandini's 'mamta'
woke up..! She knew if she will give smurfy to
Manvi he will have to face her wrath..!
"Mano..! Baby kuch ni hota na..! Ap new
drawing bana lo..!"Nandini tried to calm her
down and hide smurfy in her arms..
"No no..! You love smurfy more then me
kya?"She asked angrily and Nandini look at
Manik helplessly he nodded in assurance..
"Acha sandcastle kis ko banany aaty
hain?"Manik asked loudly and
Manvi turned towards him..
"Mjy aaty hain..!"Manvi said happily..Her mood
changed in an instant.. She immediately pulled
out her shovel and bucket from the toy basket..!
with that she run towards Manik..! Thank GOD
her attention diverted and smurfy nuzzled in
Nandini's arms..! She caressed his head and he
started dozing off..! Manik made Manvi busy in
making sand castle and walked back to Nandini
who was staring at Manvi..! Manvi was hell
busy in making sandcastles..! It was her favorite
task in school when they used to be in pune..!
She was looking so adorable..! Shirt shorts and
band on head..!
Manik didn't disturbed her and started cutting
fruits for her..!
"Are you ok?"Manik asked politely and fed her
an apple..
"Yeah..! Am fine..! It's just I was thinking about
Manvi..! Agr ya na hoti tou shaid tum say juda
ho kar me mar he gai hoti..!"Nandini said in a
plain tone and Manik took her in a side hug..
"Hey..! How many times I have told you not to
think about all that..!"Manik said kissing her
head and she nodded..
"Yeah..! I know..! Am sorry..!"She said wiping
the tear which was in the corner of her eye..!
"Bus tum aur mery bachy khush rahen mjy is
say ziada aur kuch nahi chye..!"Manik said
smiling at Manvi who was shooting daggers at
smurfy as poor smurfy again had destroyed one
of the castle..!
"Poor smurfy..!"Nandini said laughing loudly..!
While Manik got up to save smurfy again..! The
whole day passed and day after day passed..!
They spent so many days almost ten days
together..! It was an awesome time..! Manvi was
getting better and better. After their return
Manvi again had a session with doctor and he
announced that she was getting better..!
