I had grabbed the prey from my patrol the previous day and headed back to camp. Daisy and Millie became good friends with Mouse, and my kits were bouncing around with excitement all over the young visitors, I think they will get along just fine. I had asked Firestar if we could let them stay, he said as long as they wish to do so, the kits will have proper warrior training, and the mother may stay in the nursery like daisy, or fight as a warrior. The senior warriors agreed to it, along with the rest of the clan. "Stormheart, what do you think of the new cats in Thunderclan?" I had asked him before the full moon had risen for the gathering. "I think the kits will be a strong addition to the clan, the mother, I'm not so sure she will become a use of a warrior, but she will be a nice addition to our clan, Thunderclan is strong." Stormheart answered. "Tonight is our kits first gathering as apprentices. Do you think Firestar will let them go?" Stormheart asked concerned. "Of course, would you like me to talk to him?" Liontail asked.
"Sure, if you want." I padded to where my father was standing patiently wait for the time to leave for the gathering. "Fine weather for a gathering." Firestar greeted his deputy.
"Yes, it is. Will my kits go to the gathering tonight?" Liontail asked.
"I have been debating on that, they were made apprentices right after the last gathering, I guess we could show off the strength of Thunderclan's newest apprentices, go tell their mentors, quick!" Firestar dismissed his deputy. I headed towards the camp entrance where all they young mentors were sitting. "Greetings." Lionblaze dipped his head to his deputy and kin. "Yes, Firestar has decided they will go to the gathering tonight." Liontail informed the mentors.
"Yes, thank you." Dovewing thanked the mother of their apprentices. The gathering group had left. I was in the lead with Firestar in the middle, Graystripe at his side with me on the other, Stormheart behind me, and Sandstorm chatting away with the Windclan senior warriors that had joined us on the moor as my clan had crossed. "Not to far now, Riverclan I see is near crossing." Firestar informed. "What do you plan on telling them, at the gathering?" Graystripe qeustioned his leader, with respect. "Thunderclan is doing well, nothing to hide, show off our apprentices a bit." Firestar responded proudly of his kin. We arrived a few fox lengths later, Riverclan and Shadowclan had already arrived, Riverclan just settling in with Shadowclan. "Greetings, Blackstar, Leopardstar." Firestar dipped his head in a greeting, they did the same in return. "I've got to go. Firestar wants to meet with the other deputies and leaders." Liontail told her mate. "See you after the gathering!" He called. I arrived at the bottom of the great oak, all leaders and their deputies side by side, there was one deputy missing, Mistyfoot, I wonder where she is, visiting, surely Leopardstar had told her about the meeting? Not going to offend Leopardstar, I didn't ask. "How's Riverclan?" Firestar asked politely. "Fine, without the river frozen, we are hunting more then ever before." Leopardstar said proudly, obviously offended by Firestars offer.
