Mario thought that everything went back to normal when he destroyed the Master Core, but he was wrong.

        Back at the Final Destination, the Master Core was just destroyed.  The huge white flash filled the area and everyone was gone and back in their own places with no memory of what happened.  Except for one person.

        Duck Hunt was still in his statue form when the Master Core was destroyed.  The only thing it did to the statue was unfreeze it.  Soon, Duck Hunt found himself in the Final Destination with no one around...and all of his memories retained.

        Duck Hunt looked around.  Nothing was around him.  So, he thought, the heroes saved the day and didn't unfreeze me.  He rolled his eyes.  Then, he noticed something on the ground.  It was a small, gray circle the shape of a bottle cap with a red button in the middle.  He picked it up and examined it.

        "What's this?" he said out loud, thinking to himself.  No one was there to hear him and his voice just echoed in the space.  That was when Duck Hunt thought, what if it was a time machine?

        It could be.  So, he decided to test the theory.  Anything to get back the heroes who scolded and ignored him.  So, he thought that he wanted to go back in time to one second ago, but to land in the mushroom kingdom.  He could use it as a transporter like this.  So, he pressed the button.

        Soon, Duck Hunt found himself swirling in what seemed like a sideways blue tornado.  He was going through the depths of the space-time continuum.  He was bouncing off everywhere.  He tried to scream along with his duck, but both of their screams were mixed in with space and time.  Then, Duck Hunt found himself being gravitated toward a portal.  And, he entered.

        Duck Hunt found himself on the ground.  He lifted himself up to see fireworks in the sky.  They blasted off, making an extravagant show.  He looked in front of him to see a pink castle.  And, on a little porch, there was Peach and Mario.

        He was in the Mushroom Kingdom.

        "Perfect," he whispered, and laughed a quiet but maniacal laugh.
