The mountain was huge.  It was so huge, in fact, that it was actually labeled as one of the biggest mountains in the entire Arctic region.  And this was just the attraction for the Ice Climbers.  In fact, they were on that mountain at that very moment.

Popo and Nana were struggling to the top.  They were almost there, not even one hundred feet away from the summit.  However, wind and snow were blasting in their faces.  They were merely hanging on to life at this point.

"Popo, we should go back," Nana shivered, looking at him.

"No, Nana!" Popo exclaimed.  "We've gone too far."

Suddenly, a humongous gust of wind blew at them.  It Blew Nana away from her hammer, which mounted her in the ice, and was being blown away.  However, Popo sent out an end of a rope.  She caught on and Popo pulled her in.

"Popo, I'm scared!" she yelled when she got back to her hammer.

"Don't be," Popo comforted.  "We are almost there.  We can have a celebration when we get to the top!"

So, the Ice Climbers struggled against the harsh winds and sharp snow that felt like mini daggers.  They must keep going.  Slowly but surely, they inched their way up the mountain.  Fifty feet, twenty five feet, ten feet.  They were almost there!  Then, Popo latched his hammer on the top of the summit.  He pulled both Nana and himself up.

However, something did not seem right.  The summit was much flatter and bigger than any other summit Popo or Nana have ever seen.  It seemed to be flattened out by man. But, how?

Then, they saw something even worse.  In front of them was the largest polar bear they have ever seen.  Behind it was a delicious eggplant, but they would never be able to get it.  The polar bear could pummel them any day.  But, they still had to try.

They tried to use Ice Shot, but it did absolutely nothing.  They tried to hit it all over with their hammers.  Yet, it had no weak point.  The polar bear lifted up its mighty arm and slashed Popo and Nana, knocking them back and almost making them fall off of the cliff.  Suddenly, there was a voice.

"Hey, a-you!" the voice shouted.  The polar bear turned around onlyto be confronted by Mario, Mewtwo, and Snake.  Mewtwo used confusion and it turned the behemoth around and knocked him down. Then, Snake threw a hand grenade straight into the bear's mouth, thus exploding its whole head off. They walked to the Ice Climbers.

The Ice Climbers were shocked to see those three together.  "What are you guys doing here?" Popo asked.  "The reign of Melee and Brawl is over."

"Chef Boyardee here's a time traveler and needs you to come with us on an adventure," Snake answered.

"A time traveler?" Nana questioned.  "That's improbable!"

"Well, besides a-for the chef part," Mario said, "it's a-true.  We need you to come with us."

There was a long pause.  Then, Popo finally broke.  "We'll go," he said.  They all smiled.

Mario took out the time machine and looked at the timer.  Only twenty more minutes before timelines would be changed.

"We'd a-better get going," Mario said.  They all gathered around him.  "Next stop, the present!"

"We'', your present," Snake retorted.  Then, they disappeared.
