In an unknown world, lies a dimension full of angels. Pit surfaces this dimension in hopes of locating Dark Pit. He realized the platform he was standing on was broken piece of the big ben Clock Tower. Palutena was watching Pit from above.

Palutena: "It looks like Dark Pit isn't here."

Then, three monstrous angels appeared and they looked at Pit as if he were a snack. A butterfly-like creature and a snake-like creature. Palutena did her research on the two angels.

Palutena: "Don't get reckless, Pit. Angels, Affinity and Inspired are angels that require intense skill to defeat."

Pit: "Don't worry, Lady Palutena, just grant me your amazing powers and I'll take care of these guys no problem."

Palutena granted Pit her powers, and he took down Affinity and Inspired with ease. But then, a two-headed like creature named Fortitudo appeared.

Palutena: "Hold on, Pit. Fortitudo is extremely dangerous."

Pit had a lot of trouble defeating Fortitudo. Fortitudo smacked him down in one strike.

Pit: "I'm finished."

Bullet shots then struck Fortitudo in its back coming an unknown assailant in the midst. Fortitudo then left Pit.

Two minor angels appeared and Pit destroyed them with his Upperdash Arms.

Pit: "WooHoo! Two down!"

Palutena: "Don't get careless, Pit. A challenger approaches.

Pit: "Huh?"

Pit soon heard a female voice saying: "Oh, another angel. Must've miss one." She came from the moon above and landed on the platform all stylish and flashy. It was the sexy Umbra Witch, Bayonetta. Pit looked down below and saw a fallen Affinity, Inspired, and Fortitudo and freaked out realized the woman was the angel hunter.

Bayonetta: "Let's dance, boy."

Before they fought, Pit questioned Palutena about the female.

Pit: "Who is that, Lady Palutena?"

Palutena: "It's an Umbra Witch. I thought they were extinct."

Bayonetta: "Cheeky. Especially coming from an endangered species."

Pit and Bayonetta were preparing to fight.

Palutena: "Watch out for her bullet arms. She uses four guns."

Bayonetta was equipped with her guns, Love is Blue, on both her hands and feet. Bayonetta performed her ranged Side Tilt to a 3-hit combo Side Tilt on Pit.

Pit: "A pursuing attack!"

Bayonetta: "I like it when you play hard to get."

Bayonetta repeatedly shot Pit with a Standard Attack to a Down Tilt. Also, she summoned her Wicked Weave Smash Attack, which Pit dodged.

Pit: "Wow, they're huge!"

Palutena: "Her Wicked Weave attacks summon the limbs of demons."

Bayonetta performed a Standard Attack, Down Tilt, and an Up Smash with Madame Butterfly's fist. Then performed a Down Throw to a Down Smash. Pit got some space between him and his opponent to the edge. Edgeguarding, Bayonetta denied Pit's recovery by Meteor Smashing him to the ground.

Bayonetta: "Gotcha."

Pit came back with the Power of Flight and tried to attack with a Dash Attack, but Bayonetta jumped, revealing Madame Butterfly's wings. He tried again with an Upperdash Arm, but was caught with a force of time and was moving slowly.

Pit: "The time?!"

Palutena: "It's Witch Time. Witches can control time itself."

When in Witch Time, she performed a Down Aerial to a Forward Smash. She countered Pit's attack again impatiently waiting for him to fall out of his Witch Time state.

Bayonetta: "If you need to learn how to talk to a lady, ask you mum."

Bayonetta performed her Standard Special, Bullet Climax twice. Pit side smashed Bayonetta, but she performed Witch Time, her midair Side Special, After Burner Kick, then a downward After Burner Kick, and finishing off with a Forward Air. She started dancing.

Bayonetta: "Don't tell me you're done already."

Bayonetta pummeled Pit a bit, but then a Down Throw to a Down Smash.

Pit: "She's so tough."

As lie on the floor, Dark Pit arrives and swooped in as his rescue.

Dark Pit: (using Power of Flight) "Don't be such a wimp."

Dark Pit fired a Silver Bow and went in for an Dash Attack, but Bayonetta ducked the projectile and dodged the attack with her alternate Down Special, Bat Within.

Bayonetta: "Ooh, another. Such fun."

Pit aided Dark Pit in fighting Bayonetta. She back threw Pit and Up Smashed Dark Pit.

A Smash Ball came, which Bayonetta acquired.

Bayonetta: "Time for the best part: Smashing!"

Bayonetta then uses her Final Smash, Infernal Climax. She used her hair to summon Gomorrah, Devourer of the Divine to chow down both angels.

Palutena: "That's Gomorrah. She can summon huge demons."

Pit and Dark Pit were now trophilzed.

Bayonetta: "Enough talk, goddess. Don't mess with a Witch. Such puny fighters. They're nothing compared to the angels I fight on a daily basis. But... I could use these to do my bidding, maybe my lacking assistants...kind of like Enzo."

Bayonetta freed Pit and Dark Pit from their trophy form. Pit was afraid upon reawakening to Bayonetta's face, while Dark Pit was enraged.

Bayonetta: "Hello, boys. I sense you two aren't evil or vicious."

Pit: "Hmm, you can tell that to Pittoo."

Dark Pit: "Quit calling me that."

Pit: "Whatever. Where are we anyway?"

Bayonetta: "You are in the world of Purgatorio at a place called the Umbra Clock Tower."

Dark Pit: "Why do I feel like your hunting angels."

Bayonetta: "You may call me Bayonetta. I am an Umbra Witch who hunts angels for a living. I participate in Witch Trials and Witch Hunts. I figured you angels might be some delicious prey."

Pit: "But why? Angels are supposed to be good."

Bayonetta: "Well no. Their devilish monsters in my world. And according to your dark-winged friend here, I'm skeptical."

Dark Pit: "Don't ever call me his friend."

Pit: "Come on, Pittoo. It doesn't hurt to care someone. I.E. me."

Dark Pit: "Ugh."

A giant golden door appeared. It opened and produced a heavenly glow from it and out came Palutena as pound as she can be.

Bayonetta: "The goddess from before."

Palutena: "I am Lady Palutena of Skyworld. I am the Goddess of Light."

Bayonetta: "And that means what exactly?"

Palutena: "Well, I'm glad you asked, Cereza."

Bayonetta: "How do you know me?"

Palutena: "As a Goddess, I'm supposed know about everyone and everything. Anyway, you should join us because the fight between good and evil is among us. Plus, I also sense that you aren't entirely evil."

Bayonetta: "True...fine. I will help you. I'll have a lot of fun to kick some asses anyway."

Pit: "What about you Dark Pit? We could use someone like you around too."

Dark Pit: "Fine. But don't go thinking we're allies or even friends. I'm just teaming up with you all for the time being."

Palutena: "Excellent. Now let's return to the Final Destination."

They took off to Final Destination.
