Meanwhile, Pit went back to the Reset Bomb Forest to find Dark Pit. Palutena was communicating with Pit telepathically.

Palutena: "I've located Dark Pit."

Pit: "Where is he? Ow!"

Pit got shot with a purple arrow in the back. He turned around, ran up, and grabbed Dark Pit by the shirt.

Pit: "Ha! Found you!"

Dark Pit: "Finding me was a easy part. Prepare to meet your doom!"

Pit: "Argh!"

Pit was running towards him, but Dark Pit flew up (with right timing) with the Power of Flight.

Pit: "Dang!"

Dark Pit: "With Pandora's Power, I am a powerful being compared to you."

Palutena: "Don't listening to him, Pit. Just keep fighting."

Pit kept spamming arrows, but Dark Pit quickly flew away.

Dark Pit: "You gotta do better than that!"

Pit: "I'll put an end to you."

Pit started jumping, flapping his wings, but it was worthless.

Dark Pit: "Look at you, struggling to fly!"

Pit: "You can't really fly either...without Pandora's power."

Dark Pit: "That's because I'm a clone of you and you can't fly."

Pit: "Oh yeah, the Mirror of Truth."

Dark Pit: "Whatever, Armpit."

Dark Pit landed on the ground and they fought. Pit went in for an Upperdash Arm, while Dark Pit went in for an Electroshock Arm, and they collided.

Pit/Dark Pit: "AHHH!"

They started fighting with close combat weapons by breaking apart their bows.

Dark Pit: "You're also Palutena's puppet, you know."

Pit: "How?"

Dark Pit: "She says "jump", you jump. She says "fight", you fight."

Pit: "Don't you dare talk to Lady Palutena that way!"

Dark Pit: "I'm a freeman. No one controls me."

Pit: "Yet, you work for Viridi."

Dark Pit: "Viridi doesn't control me."

Dark Pit: "DON'T YOU EVER CALL ME THAT!"

Dark Pit soon kicked Pit right in his chest, and he fell on the ground.

Pit: "I'm finished."

Dark Pit: "Now, this is the part where I finish you off."

Dark Pit was going to hit with a fully-charged Side Smash.

Dark Pit: "Goodbye!"

Then, a giant pillar of light hit him, turning him into a trophy.

Dark Pit: "Ahhhhh...!"

Pit was relieved to see who saved him.

Palutena: "Aw, poor little Pittoo."

Pit: "Thanks, Lady Palutena."

Palutena: "Oh, so sorry about that, Pit. I thought you had this everything under control."

Pit: "I thought I did."

Palutena: "It's okay. Let's head back to Final Destination."

Pit: "Should we be worried about Dark Pit?"

Palutena: "Nah, there's nothing he can do now in his trophy state."

They then left and Dark Pit's trophy mysteriously disappeared.
