AU Powers
Every cat has super powers that are tied directly to their names.
Clan cats, rouges and loners have supernatural abilities, kittypets or cats who have no experience with the wild have no powers, though if they become wild they might manifest one.
Clan cats are named after their powers.

Animal powers
Their powers can manifest as them being born as a half cat, half other animal hybrid
(Such as Jayfeather, Lizardstripe and Squirrelflight)
Cats with prefixes related to big cats are born small but grow to be bigger than average
(Such as Lionheart, Tigerclaw and Lionblaze)

Elemental Powers
Cats can also manifest powers that are based off of an element or weather
(Such as Cloudtail, Fireheart and Mistyfoot)
As kits elemental powers are hard to control in the nursery as they almost embody these powers but control becomes easier with age.

Apprentices
When they become apprentices an elemental cats powers tend to focus more on the paws
(Hence the paw suffix)
While an animal cats powers will be more about them growing into a more fully grown version of whatever animal they are.
During the apprenticeship new powers may appear or the existing powers will be honed in on, this is how they get their warrior names.
As warriors they have full control of their powers. Medicine cats have powers that are more nature based.

Leaders
-Have nine lives
-Gain the suffix star and a star in their design
-Powers become more potent/powerful
-Fights between leaders are different as they can shoot beams of energy out through their stars
-They can only use the beams against other leaders

Exceptions
Cats who have name changes against their will go through many different changes. Their physical appearance will change and they are able to broadcast their emotions instead of their normal powers. But once they except themselves their appearance and powers will go back to normal.

Dark Forest
When a cat enters the Dark Forest they are slowly transformed into an abstract and nightmarish version of themselves that is moulded by the stories of their legacies.
Every Dark Forest cat has a creepy rhyme that accompanies them.

Star Clan
As a cat enters Star Clan they are slowly transformed into an overly graceful, starry being based on how much praise they are given by cats who are still alive.
Every Starclan cat has a fun nursery rhyme that accompanies them.
