I've got another Hero AU this time, and one that's... truthfully more realistic than the Yul one that I've previously done (still love my version of him tho 💛).

This time, the workaholic's taking the spotlight for this AU!

Hero! Ellie (The Mellowed-Out Workaholic)

- Thankfully, the time she spent with Gabby after Season 1, especially with her moving in, mellowed Ellie out a bit. She isn't as no-nonsense and scheming as she used to be, but she is still willing to be stern and blunt when needed.

- Upon rewatching Season 1 in-between the three seasons, Gabby wasn't too happy with how Ellie played everything out in the later episodes, especially with telling Jake to... well, you know, without much reason (and not to mention those interviews). She encouraged the workaholic to get some help via therapy, which she did for both her and Gabby's sake. Their talk about her actions only further motivated Ellie to make things right with the previous errors of her ways.

- Ellie would still love to win the three million, but she isn't as desperate compared to canon. This time, she's willing to put more focus on relationships, whether it be new friends or repairing the ones that she's shattered in her previous season. She's definitely adamant on keeping Gabby over that cash prize here.

- She's basically her Season 1 self, needless to say, with a bit of her less deceiving Beta self mixed in.

- She's still friends with Tess prior to the season. She even asks her for advice on trying to right her wrongs on some occasions. She also asks help for those issues to Gabby as well.

- She still holds regrets for how she treated everyone she used to be friends with in Season 1 (Tom, Jake, and Miriam).

- Tom still starts up a few arguments with her, but Ellie's trying her best to make things up with him, even if he doesn't seem to trust her.

- Obviously, she doesn't stir ANY 'love' shit between Aiden, Jake, and Tom. By now, she'd rather let others mind their own businesses.

- Also obviously, she's more adamant on refusing to take part with the Villain's Alliance, especially now that she isn't too hyper-focused on the competition.

- Aside from Tom, she has the most difficulty in trying to gain Jake's forgiveness for... very obvious reasons. We all know how much of a grudge-holder he can be.

- Just because she's less cruel doesn't mean she still holds a bit of strategy. Here, she tries to use more moral strategies to help her team gain some victories, rather than to go immoral and ruthless like in canon. This also applies for her voting game, too... Well, that's unless if she runs out of options to keep herself in. She's still remorseful for what she does though.

- With her more remorseful and kind personality from Season 1 remaining, she probably makes it further than Episode 8 here, maybe even merge if she gets lucky with the joint vote.

- Her hair bowtie was a birthday gift from Gabby in-between seasons. She keeps it on to remind herself that her bestie still cares for her no matter what.

Well, hope y'all liked what I have! Tell me your thoughts on this Ellie in the comments if you'd like!

For now, I'll see y'all soon!

Byeeeeeeee~!
