Well, some of y'all have seen the villain AUs that me and some of my friends have made, but... how about I give it a little twist by doing the EXACT OPPOSITE?

Redeemed/Hero Yul (The Insecure Redemption Seeker)

- Needless to say, that mushroom incident back in Season 2 REALLY opened this Yul's own eyes on how horrible he acted, especially after rewatching his season and seeing all of the reception he's received.

- A LOT more nicer towards others during All-Stars, even though he does act pretty awkward at times. Some of the others (Aiden and Riya for instance) seem to think he's faking it, but he really means it.

- Mainly tries to focus on fixing the wrongs that he's done to his fellow Season 2 contestants than trying to win the money. Connor and Riya would be his first focuses since he's on the same team as them. He'd have some luck with Connor, but... not so much with Riya.

- He's more sensitive about his image after all of the hate that he's received, really not wanting to slip on his attempts to change as a person.

- He still meets Grett in-between seasons, and does act like a better boyfriend to Grett than in canon (the love's mutual here, y'all). They help each other out on becoming better people than they previously were.

- Due to all the reception he's received, he can sometimes be a bit clingy to (mainly) Grett and anyone that he manages to befriend throughout the season, knowing that they'd be the only people who truly trusts him.

- Refuses his invite to the Villain's Alliance. Grett does try to convince him to join in for the sake of their gameplay, but he clearly doesn't want to dive back to his old roots.

- Can be paranoid and insecure as heck. He sometimes fears that people are faking their trust towards him due to how he's previously acted, and due to that, and if he reaches his limit, he tends to lash out back into his ruder self. He does realizes if he did slip out, and gets extremely apologetic afterwards. Can't really blame him though, changing can be a tough road to deal with sometimes.

- Emily still does try to help him, this time on improving himself. Yul's a lot more grateful for the help this time, and their small alliance between them does last until Oliver snitches to Kristal like in canon. Obviously, Yul would likely be upset hearing about Emily being fired.

- Might have developed a phobia of mushrooms after Season 2.
