What if Shope met Tyler, Kevin, and the roach, by some sort of mistake?

Here's a little story

Shope's POV

As I walked into the school, I sensed a type of ranking. A type of ranking which was below my level of smartness. I had just moved from my old school. Was I ready to take this on? Of course, I was the smartest girl in my other school, how will this be any different?

"Alright students, please go to the cafeteria to get your schedule," a lady on the speaker advised.

Ok then, heading to the cafeteria, which I have no idea where it is because this is the first day of school!!! Ah whatever... Ill just figure my way there.

*skips all of the calculations"

I finally made it. Yes!!! From a distance I saw three boys. They were talking to each other. They looked as if I could talk to them without making them confused. Maybe my chance to make new friends?

"Hello, my name is Shope," I stated nicely.

"Slingshot!" The boy with curly black hair yelled out.

The other two boys grabbed a slingshot and went ahead in shooting paint all over me.

"Slingshots in school?!" I furiously asked trying to remove some of the paint before it dried.

Now I get why people say that light travels faster than sound. I guess it wasn't just science talk. Maybe that's why people appear bright before I hear them.

"Sorry we just needed a target, the name is Kevin," Kevin said.

"Yeah, we needed some practice before our "game". My name is Tyler," Tyler replied.

I'm Theodore, but you can call me the roach," the roach said.

"Ok..." I said slowly trying to scoot away.

"You can come with us if you want," Tyler said.

I actually enjoyed the sport, but was I going to enjoy being with them?

"Sure, but when?" I asked.

"Right after school!" The roach exclaimed while he began to dance.

Haha regrets....

"Ok, see you then!" I smiled.

I went to get my schedule and headed to class. This could actually be a start of friendship. A weird friendship, but isn't a friend a friend?
