"Say what now? My Ffffff....ather? He died and you never told me?" Dev asked, thunderstruck.

"22 years ago, I heard he was dead. I knew it was my duty to protect you as your aunt, and the last person alive in the family," Dev's mom replied.

"You're my aunt?" Dev questioned.

"He's not dead. He's probably hiding like a coward in the corner of the world, waiting to unleash his giant gun which can erase half the world off the map!" The man cop interrupted. Dev glowered at him. But he couldn't do anything. He was weak. He had no weapon. No wisdom. No father.

Disappointed in not being able to get any information, the police left. Dev sat down on his couch. He broke down. His aunt consoled him. "Dev, don't be upset. It's alright." "It's not alright. I want my parents. I want to talk to them, I want to get to know about them. I want to live in a normal world where I have my parents and you on my graduation day. You don't know what it's like, what I'm feeling now."

"Dev, stop. You want to know about your parents, right? Fine, I'll tell you."
