"Good morning Nigeria, good morning Africa, good morning World, welcome to today's episode of The favourite couple in The Rita's. I remain your host; Rita Ameh. This week we'll be giving you live the favourite couple of the month, I give you Chris and Lara Donald".

Chris grazed her cheek with his lips as they walked into the shuttering lights of cameras, the applause and cheers were deafening.

Lara felt rigid as she smiled widely waving at the cameras, she turned to look at Chris; he seemed unfazed. Of course he was, he was used to this.

They both sat simultaneously on the sofa opposite Rita, Lara crossed her legs and leaned into Chris's broad chest.

"Aww, you guys are so cute". Rita began, smaking her lips together.

Chris interlocked Lara's fingers with his and held it to his lips sending butterflies to her belly. "What can I say?".

Rita sat up reading from the card in her hands "When did you guys meet?".

"We were childhood friends". Lara replied staring dreamingly into his eyes.

"Like best friends?".

He scoffed "Ppft.. more like we hated each other".

Lara nodded in agreement and leaned in for a kiss.

"Can you share your love story?, I'm sure everyone wants to hear it".

And she did tell a love story; a story about her favourite couple but this time, she had pictured herself and Chris in it.

"You guys just can't take your hands off each other and it's adorable".

"Mm hmm". Chris replied.

"So, how do you guys resolve misunderstandings?".

"Well...". Chris paused "Why don't you tell them sweetie?".

Oh no!, What would she say?

Lara chuckled humourlessly "No, you tell them, pumpkin".

He shook his head "We just resolve our issues with any means necessary".

Rita folded her arms  with a small smile "That's a very tactful reply, so you guys fight each other if that's the only means?".

Lara chuckled softly "He meant conversations and dialogues".

Rita nodded laughing "So, planning on popping out mini Lara and mini Chris soon?"

Lara choked on her own spit while Chris shrugged it off with a laughter.

"Very soon Rita, very soon". He replied.

He didn't mean that, did he? Her subconsciousness asked.

"Any advice on newly Weds?".

Lara smiled "We're no marriage counselors Rita, but the best advice is this". She turned to the cameras "Just be the best you can be for your partner".

Rita nodded approvingly and turned to the cameras "Aren't they so cute?, Leave your comments and questions on our Facebook page, we'll get back to you. But before that, this is the wrap of today's edition of The favourite couple on The Rita's show, I still remain your host, Rita Ameh".

The screens went blank and the applause was deafening, Rita reached out her hand for a handshake and shook the couple.

Lara walked out of the set with Chris trailing behind her. The interview had gone well and she could feel excitement bubbling up in her.

"That was very impressive". Kcee embraced them with a wide grin.

"Thank you". Chris replied.

Kcee turned to her "I didn't know you had a tinge of acting in you".

Lara shrugged "Mm hmm".

    She was good; he would say. He almost bought the idea that she was a good wife, but he knew better.

The silence in the car was comforting as each one was in his or her own thoughts; Kcee was typing furiously on his tablet at the other end of the limousine and Lara had her eyes closed, he knew she wasn't sleeping but was preventing a conversation.

"Oga, madam, should I put on the radio?". The driver asked trying to uplift the moods.

"No Nedu, I don't need noise". Lara replied calmly with her eyes still closed.

"Okay ma".

Kcee sat up quickly after some moments "Guys, Guys, I think your little drama on that stage has gifted you a vacation to Dubai".

Chris reached out quickly and snatched the tablet out of his hands "This is unbelievable".

Lara flickered her eyelids open "Yeah, I'm so excited". She replied with sarcasm dripping from her tone.

Chris rolled his eyes "You don't like good things".

She sat up "Excuse me?".

He shrugged "You're very well excused, I mean how can you not be excited about a vacation to DUBAI?"

"I'm very excited about the vacation, okay?"

"That's a weird way to show excitement".

Lara let out a humourless chuckle "I'm just not very keen to be on a vacation with you".

She didn't.

Yes she did say it, his subconsciousness scowled at him.

"Enough guys, I can't deal with kids in my house and out of my house at the same time". Kcee hollered.

Lara shot an eyebrow "Did you just call us kids?".
