who knew going to the hospital is taking so long.

they were stuck in the middle of traffic, moving very slowly. Henry doesn't even know how many times he beeped the horn on his steering wheel.

"have you ever wondered why traffic is a thing?" Johnny asked as he stared at the cloudy grey sky.

"yes."

"most likely."

the three sighed and Ellie plopped into her seat before looking at the trees behind the window. she suddenly got an idea.

"hey, Henry."

"yes?"

"what if we drive into the woods?" she asked, smirking.

"are you crazy?! we might bump into a tall fucking tree!" Johnny exclaimed, pointing at the trees on the windows.

Ellie shook her head at Johnny. she still had that crazy smirk of hers. 

"it's Ellie. everything she does is fucking crazy" Henry sighed. he started thinking about. anything would be better then being stuck in traffic between a bunch of cars.

he took a deep inhale then looked at Ellie.

"let's do it." he huffed. Ellie lit up quickly with a bright smile on her face. Johnny's eyes widened and quickly zipped his seal belt on.

Henry prayed and started to turn, hoping he wouldn't hit any cars at all. then once the car was facing the dark woods, he quickly entered.

he could still see where he going, he zoomed straight through the woods, dodging every tree he sees.

Johnny felt like he was throw up any second. Ellie on the other hand, didn't.

the car suddenly arrived at a road and Henry made the car turn towards the road to drive on. 

"we are still on track." he blurted out. Johnny fainted on his car seat while Ellie was laughing at him.

Charles blinked slowly as he touch the ice pack he had on his forehead.

he was stuck in a hospital bed. to be honest, he doesn't want to get up at all. the bed was comfy but mostly because his body hurts.

a lot.

to him, everything happened in a flash.

somehow, Ruby got General involved in this mess and brought him to the hospital.

Charles should have seen it coming. i mean, come on. he was alone at home with a dog and his head started hurting for no reason.

Charles found it a reason to panic.

he even heard that General told Henry what happened and that he's on his way. suddenly, Charles remembers all the anger that built up in him on Ellie.

he messed up. 

maybe he could apologize when Ellie comes to the hospital or if she's even with Henry.

Charles let out a quick sigh and stared into a blank ceiling. 

oh lord, this is a common sickness that people are getting and all Charles had to was dump himself into a water fountain. 

did everyone else did the same?

he doubts it.

he had nothing to do. he tried entering his mind to listen to himself think but all he could listen to people coughing, groaning and sneezing.

this is why Charles doesn't like the hospital.

he just can't wait till Henry and Ellie come and see him.

he just knows the worry he placed Henry into.

that's all he can do for now..

like there is nothing else in the world to do.
