I'm assuming no one is gonna read all of this, but that poll thing I mentioned is up as a "book". The first poll is out, too, so you should go check it out.

On Thursday, my family took me to Chicago to see Hamilton. We had crappy seats but it was AMAZING.

it was standby/swing night, but that's okay.

The guy who played Aaron Burr (Jin Ha) recently left the show, but the guy filling in (Tommar Wilson) was fabulous.

Hamilton wasn't a standby, but the guy who played him (Miguel Cervantes) was amazing. Like, I thought he was better than Lin (sue me). During Non-Stop, when he said "I was chosen for the Constitutional Convention" he started out saying it with a completely straight face, but when he said "Constitutional Convention" he squeeled and jumped up and down (similar the the way I did when I found out I was seeing Hamilton). He was also shorter than all the Schuyler Sisters (except maybe Angelica, but they were about the same) so during Say No to This, when he kissed Maria, she had to bend down, and it was the funniest thing.

Washington was also great, he had an insanely deep voice, I was kinda astounded by it tbh.

Eliza was played by a swing, her name was Candace Quarrels and she SLAYED. She was absolutely amazing, I can't even describe it. She was so talented it was almost sickening.

The guy who played King George also blew my mind. He was hilarious! My brother was there, and he hated every second of it, but King George managed to cheer him up. That's saying something. (His name was Andrew Call btw) (King George's, not my brother's lol)

Angelica (Montego Glover) did amazing, but why wouldn't she, she plays Angelica in Hamilton.

Hercules Mulligan/James Madison also did fantastic (Ebrin R. Stanley). The look he had on his face when he was being the flower girl was priceless. (It screamed "why am I here" and I died laughing)

Malik Shabazz Kitchen (yes, that's his name), filled in for Laurens/Phillip and he was amazing. He was as good as Anthony Ramos, you can't convince me otherwise.

The guy who played Charles Lee (Kyle Weiler) was also in the ensemble and I just feel like mentioning him because he was adorable.

Aubin Wise played Peggy/Maria and she was just fantabulous. Her performance definitely made me 6% gayer.

Lafayette/Jefferson was played by Colby Lewis and he was amazing. When he said "Uhh, France?" He just looked at the audience like "wtf why is he asking me this shouldn't he know"

Also, seeing Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story live was one of the saddest experiences I've ever had. When you see it live, it's different than listening to it or watching the bootleg. You feel it. And it crushes your soul and you just want to sob but it's so beautiful so you have to be quiet to appreciate to talent. And at the end of the song, Hamilton walks Eliza off stage leaving everyone else there singing the ending and I'm crying just writing about it.

If you made it this far, congrats! Now, I'm gonna go listen to Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story and cry.
Have a nice day/night!
