Aizawa had managed to keep his eyes open for long enough to stop Todoroki from advancing with any further attacks. He felt a searing pain in his back but ignored it in favor of throwing his capture cloth at the nearest villain he could spot. Todoroki, that green-haired kid, and that person with the hand on his face seemed to be the ones leading this operation. Even if two were the age of his own students, they were still villains and deserved to be treated as such.

And that purplish-black mist was definitely the main way for this operation to get through successfully, whatever the operation was. He believed that he had heard All Might's name but he couldn't be too sure. However, it wasn't for much longer that he could keep his hurting eyes open. They finally drooped shut for a second and that was all it took for ice to shoot out towards him, frozen claws extending at his beaten down form.

He leaped up but the ice wasn't stopping. He realized that he didn't have any clue of the range of the attack and this could potentially freeze the entire place and skewer his students with the shards.  He counted the seconds in his mind miserably. His power could only be used after every forty seconds that he blinked. Twenty seconds were still left as he tried to hitch a landing on the ice for if he went further back, he would end up bumping with the students that were behind him, probably terrified out of their minds at the events unfurling in front of them.

Darn it, this was no rational battle. He was incredibly overpowered. He could see Thirteen down on the floor. A cold feeling settled in his stomach as he realized that he was the only pro hero standing between the students and the villains.

"Your temper is still the same. Do you intend to be a hero with such a horrible temper? Do you think shouting at others will make them like you, that shouting at them would bring them the relief that a hero is supposed to provide?"

Izuku's eyes were glinting as they thinned. His hands were partially hidden by the dust but Bakugo could make out a metallic gauntlet covering them, extending halfway towards his elbow. Malice danced in those eyes which made him equally terrified and furious. He was wearing boots that had iron soles apparently, with which he had used to kick their teacher down towards the ice shards. Hopefully that good for nothing yellow bag man was still alive.

"SHUT UP, I AM STILL IN A HERO COURSE YOU SEE? I HAVEN'T BECOME A VILLAIN, UNLIKE YOU, DEKU!"

"What makes one a villain?"

Izuku's question was enough to give the hot-tempered Bakugo a pause.

"THE FUCK? VILLAINS ARE THOSE WHO DO EVIL DEEDS! HEROES ALWAYS WIN, THEY ALWAYS SAVE THE DAY, VILLAINS LOSE AND ARE EVIL!!!"

"What is evil?"

"What the actual fuck are you on about, Deku, you useless—"

He had charged towards Izuku while saying this statement. He had expected his fist to smash that eerie face, a mockery of the timid, Quirkless and utterly useless good-at-nothing boy he used to know. However, it met empty air. He spun around, trying to figure out where the bastard had gone when he felt a foot knock him cleanly off his feet and onto the floor and keep him pinned down. Despite his best attempts, he couldn't move. A metallic strip was keeping him strapped down.

From above him, he heard Deku's soft voice.

"Who is useless now?"
