Kurogiri had gone out to drag Tomura back to their hideout. Izuku had fallen asleep on top of Todoroki who was reading a book. It wasn't that he was obsessively interested in reading, he had learnt long ago that a book in front of your face made you look smart and normally pushed people away. That is if they already didn't get pushed off with his icy looks.

Toga was moaning about a lack of people to slice up, Twice was trying to make her rethink in vain. Magne let out a puff of smoke and said,

"Why don't you try a job at the butchers'?"

Toga cocked her head and looked at them, as if realising this for the first time.

"You know what, you are actually right."

".....okay?"

Dabi chose that exact moment to burst in.

"I HAVE NEWS."

"Yes?" Todoroki asked tiredly. Izuku usually dealt with most of this because Tomura was mostly off screaming about something or the other.

"A member of the yakuza wants to join us. He is the head actual, Kai Chisaki. Also known as Overhaul."

"Fantastic, ya gonna bring him in?"

"I suppose, but I elect waiting for the baby here—"

"If you say that again, I won't need my Quirk to murder you."

Tomura strode in, fiddling with the hand on his face. His eyes looked straight up murderous, which Dabi answered with a shrug.

As if on cue, Izuku woke up.

"Welcome back."

Tomura ignored him.

"And tell that Hero Killer to stop acting."

With that, he strode into his bedroom. Kurogiri gave everyone an apologetic look before running after him, yelling something along the lines of, "YOU HAVEN'T EATEN IN AGES, YOU WILL DIE OF STARVATION THIS WAY."

Izuku sighed and turned to Dabi, who was looking the least bothered.

"You said Overhaul, right? I actually need your help, and probably try to enlist Eraserhead in this—"

"Wait, slow down, where the hell does Eraserhead even come in?"

Todoroki straightened up and rubbed his face, his full attention on the conversation now. Izuku realised that he had gotten pretty much ahead of himself.

"Well, yesterday, I had gone for a walk in my childhood neighbourhood, where I happened to run into him, and almost Shinso-kun. I was walking by the alley when a little white-haired girl ran into me. Before I could do or say anything, a voice rang out, calling her to come back. Now, as you know, I have done my research on the yakuza, and if I am not too wrong, that was Kai Chisaki. I need to sneak into his place for concrete evidence, but I think that he is somehow using that girl for producing those Quirk Destroying bullets. And they had an eye on me because that's basically my Quirk. After I left Kacchan in the alley, I decided to go after the girl and almost ran into Chisaki. He gave me an odd look and a knife came flying out of nowhere. I dodged, obviously, but it drew blood. He retrieved the knife and politely apologised. He is extremely obsessed with cleanliness and I noticed that he didn't wipe the blood off it. I politely pretended to walk away, hiding a short distance away, until he was sure that I had gone. I followed him to his hideout and took an impromptu thermal scan of the area. The underground is like a huge maze, let me pull the map here—"

A hologram appeared from his wristwatch, showing the scan results. It played out like a video.

"Observe the one that just entered," Izuku said quietly, zooming onto Overhaul.

They saw his dot decrease a little after a particular room.

"Don't tell me that you plan to rescue her," Todoroki spoke when Izuku switched it off.

"YuP, and that's exactly where Eraserhead comes in. He is an underground hero, so it will take a while for people to recognise him, besides he is actually good at fighting properly, and would do a good job in this operation and taking the girl in afterwards. If my hypothesis is correct, then he is indeed using her for the drugs, because she had bandages wrapped all around her, which is definitely not something normal. He is using that poor girl, which is plain sick, this must be stopped. Besides they will create trouble for us as well. If they start selling these drugs, it will be just a matter of time before corrupt heroes buy those and start hunting villains with them. I vote for taking Eri out, for that's what Chisaki called her."

"I agree, this treatment of the child is sickening," Todoroki said raising his hand, "Quirk exploitation is an awful thing to do."

"I agree, I like children," Toga said cheerfully.

"Sure, I guess," Twice said with a shrug.

"................we are taking in a fucking child now?"

Stain, the master of surprise appearances and dramatic speeches had entered the room.

"You have a problem?" Izuku said, a little too cheerfully.

"As long as they turn out alright, I suppose," he grumbled and sat down. Spinner came in shortly.

"I don't know what happened, but if Stain has given his assent, who am I to disagree?"

Stain had always assumed that he would be able to achieve his goal better if he had the support of people. Alone and hungry for vengeance, he had started killing those who he deemed unworthy of beating their titles. It isn't known what exactly had happened to make him this angry, but a combination of being constantly ignored and then a certain Vigilante breaking his nose had convinced him that his path was the correct one.

Now, surrounded by a maniac girl who wanted to marry him(he would rather run away, thank you very much) and an overly-obedient reptile, he was rethinking his life choices. Besides, he couldn't deny that Izuku had a point. Even if his actions were almost similar to his own.

"The hell is going on here?" Tomura had been chased by Kurogiri throughout the house with food, the mist man trying to feed the petulant man in vain.

The smile that Izuku gave him chilled him to the bone.

Especially when Todoroki matched it.
